Sure, a lot of our development is entrenched in warfare however our understanding of reality and manipulation of physics through technology is unmatched.

You mean our refusal to respect the laws of nature and defer to conventional physics as an immutable foundation of reality. Inevitably we will begin to play stupid games that earn stupid prizes.

Often these dialogues stem from the ideology that humans are too magical and important to suffer the consequences of biology and entropy so we have an obligation to break the limits of humanity to achieve some transhuman destiny. That's what I call a stupid prize.

If it was actually true, I'd be amazed too. But alas, we are not the source of existence and there's no fountain of cosmic energy inside of us.

I accept that you have ideas and your ideas don't offend me in the slightest. They just raise a few questions in my mind. If thought and mind are ethereal then why is the physical death the absolute end of a person. Why aren't disembodied souls just all over the place. Why hasn't anyone returned from the afterlife to educate living society on how to make smart choices before they perish. Why isn't there seminars and conventions and video documentaries on these incredible famous historical teachers and leaders who survived the journey after escaping their mortal confines and brought back the answers they couldn't find on Earth. Nothing but silence among the tombstones and the stars.

Whilst watching a BBC episode of the Universe. Something occurred to me.

With the Universe expanding faster.
Maybe the unknown Dark Energy is energy put into the Universe by Civilizations?
Hence the amount increases and the speed of expansion follows.
Just a thought.

The true nature of human beings is an individual experience, what you describe is the influence of forces which propagate through society in an attempt to negate positivity. These forces are driven by the consolidation of power and are the negative influences of evil men. Our true nature is an equalising balance with nature.

You and I will return to a collective consciousness and despite our differences I’m capable of accepting our true nature of collaboration, driven by love and understanding.

Upon your demise we will reach a common and irrefutable truth, one in which our trivial differences fade into oblivion. See you there my friend.

And I respect very much that you have questions Chaz. And I
know those questions can be heartbreaking in many different
ways. That said I believe it is a huge mistake on our part to
assume any authority over when there is an " absolute end of a
person". We have no business assuming we know anything about

isn't the absolute end certainly can't come if all you believe is
what men say about it. Other men and women who I believe would
rather squash God from existence. If you've paid any attention to
the world at all I'm sure you at least could've noticed the bias that
exists in the world is not against religion.

Not as it so much as it is way more personal against God and
Jesus Christ. I say it often, The world confirms God to me more than
my understanding of the Bible. People just do not hate what does not
exist.

Why don't cars return from the wrecking yard to teach
us how to make cars last longer?

Truth is it's up to the Creator how long they last. The Bible says our
lives were shortened to 120 yrs tops. The car makers didn't lie when you
bought a car and God didn't lie about how long we got. The difference
between us and cars is obvious. We can identify what makes the car have
life. What we can't identify in us that makes us run. Is life life is not
mechanical it is not chemical. It is ethereal. And that is where every
possibility you can imagine opens up.

I hope you won't be so hard on us believers now. But don't be shy as I
said you are worthy.

Seems to me there must be some type of law against it. IDK why the
" spirit world" is not allowed to clash with the physical.

Perhaps sin is the only reason.

Your understanding of consciousness is flawed, trying to break down our thoughts into mathematical constructs will never work. Transcendence is possible, one day you’ll face that realisation, most likely as you cast aside ego and leave this realm which has confined your consciousness into this harsh and lonely individual mindset. I’ve seen the world beyond what we can measure, there we have no difference and are united together as one.

By measure of expression we are unparalleled.

Even our ability to self reflect such as the criticism of our own species in this thread is a perfect example. A virtue no other species is able to exhibit, one of many.

Something that really sets us apart from other life is the written word and language.

This gives us the ability to pass on information from one generation to the next in a way the animal instinct is incapable of.

Words are powerful and the written word endures.

Gods Word created everything and later became flesh and fixed everything spiritual if we are willing to accept that repair work that was done.

On physical level words and language contribute greatly to what makes us human.

How can we be sure that it is not our ego, or our arrogance : that puts ourselves at the top of any scale of measure ?
Again : would that not be a scale of measure of our inventing ?

We can appreciate our gifts, that is wonderful and fine.
My idea from that link, was just to look at things from a different angle. To project our arrogance, and sense of superiority, onto other species, and explore how they might express their own perceived superiority, if they were setting the measures of such.

Anywho : just thought-exercises, to see things under a different light, ya know ?

If am truly superior : then what harm would it bring for me to contemplate not being superior ?

Despite our flaws i tend to see the best in us.

I've experienced ego death and yet my consciousness was maintained, when you look through the eyes of God you appreciate just how special we are.

The eye of the mind is all knowing and all powerful.

Unfortunately our language doesn't have the requisite ability to describe the realm beyond our senses so you'll either have to discover yourself or take my word for it.

Once I am gone you will all cease to exist. You are only here for my experience.

There's a hundred thousand other species who share this planet with us. Humans aren't alone, just lonely, because we insist on elevating ourselves to a privileged status among our fellow creatures on this world.

I am glad the scriptures say that if we draw near to Him He will draw near to us........furthermore we are promised not only Salvation, but also to be given the Holy Spirit, the helper, the advocate.

Actually for me, the thing on which I focus becomes the center of my universe. Suppose if ones primary focus is oneself then one becomes ones center. The furthest thing one can perceive becomes the center..no? Like looking through a riflescope..what that crosshair settles on becomes the center of the viewers universe.

obviously if its the "observable" universe... not the whole universe.
