I remember as a little kid going to sleep and seeing the lights from our tree and sleeping so well. I'm a hopeless insomniac most days of the years. Anyway in those long nights when you can't sleep you will try anything so, I would watch those Christmas lights on youtube to go to sleep it mostly works till you get to guy with them synchronized to the Trans Siberian Orchestra. I watch this a half a dozen times at 4 AM one morning

Heh. I have a lamp on my porch with a bulb that produces a multi-colored effect somewhat like the disco lights of yore. Nice in the darker, greyer months to have some color 'out there'.

One cold after Halloween night...the neighbor out stringing lights...said "Hey! Happy Holidays!"...
