Is there an "Art" forum here on ATS???

Not sure about others, but I like art. But some "art" is different from other art.

So, let's take the classical artist, Van Gogh.

Now, some of you may know this "show" is traveling to Denver. It's a HUGE show! Tickets are rare.

Anyway, my wife's BFF bought tickets (for my wife's BD), for her and my wife to go to this exhibit.

(Note: I was a little bit jealous, because I wanted to see it too, but oh well.)

Tonight, my wife's BF bails out. Her Dad is sick (terminally)...okay, I get it.

I tried to buy a ticket for me and the wife, but they were all sold out. Now, I get to go...with my lovely wife, who is actually jumping over the Moon now.

I'm happy, but I'm sorry that my wife's B(est)F(friend) can't make it because her Dad is dying.

I enjoy seeing art from all taste around the world. Just look at the clothing people are wearing and its all free, no ticket necessary.
I got some wood carving tools I need to put to use some day. Need to get to the hobby store and check out some wood.

I bet you think different after the art show.

We've got this spot here.. Member Art

But one designed specifically for Art from/by the Masters.. No..

But if we had some members paint/draw up representations of the 'classics',, that would be very cool.

This forum would be a good place to post about that. Chit Chat is a catchall for topics that are not conspiracy related.

You may run into an issue if you're trying to take photos of works on display. Shows like that seldom allow it.
