I have this thing where I tend to post at least one frivolous thread in the morning to kick off the day. The threads on here are sooo dour and dark, that I think it's a nice respite to enjoy a time out in a bit of fun, and the threads do quite well (I guess I'm not the only one who tends to feel this way). So, having taken my morning stroll through the pits of hell upon waking, I'm heading out into my day but thought I'd leave a tidbit for sharing (actually, I'm being a bit selfish here because I genuinely want to know what people endorse).

So, having said that...what Netflix shows are you obsessed with right now (or have in the past). I will be checking these out by the way, so your entries will not go in vain. Also, of course, if it's on Hulu or something else, please submit (it's merely, again somewhat selfishly, that I have but Netflix). Anyway, I'll begin.

Comedy: Community...holy poop, if you haven't watched this show you're missing out. Laugh out loud funny (and touching as well).

Supernaturall: The OA...if you haven't watched this show, shame on you.

Anime: Baki...martial arts, super well done, and the next long awaited season begins Sep 30th, so the timing will be great.

I'll just leave those 3. You should check 'em out...truly fantastic. So please, what's tripped your trigger of late.

The first season of Ragnarok was my favorite Netflix find ever. Alot of the Netflix Norway shows are excellent.

Agreed. I have watched that show...fantastic. I'm also watching a lot of the foreign films/shows on there as well. They're very well done...

Peaky Blinders is pretty great, especially early on.
Death Note (Animated series, not the terrible movie) is pretty awesome.
Speaking of Anime, 'Parasite' was pretty cool too. Really enjoyed that. Seems like it was really under the radar.

Don't watch a whole lot of Netflix, but had to get on this thread and shout out Peaky Blinders, in case people haven't watched.

For the past several weeks I've been watching the first three seasons of Yellowstone on the Peacock Network.

I decided on Yellowstone due to the positive mentions of it here. I wanted to like it but it just was not all that good.

Hardly a single character has any redeeming or endearing qualities at all. The plot is a tried and true staple of westerns

since before we had talkies but still can't make me care about these miserable people.

I'll probably watch the next season so I can see who died at the conclusion of season three but it'll be on fast forward.

Netflix New Zealand and Australia are also hilarious. They still have that non-pc humour that we aren't really doing on tv now. (In Canada/US.)

I really enjoyed Lucifer and Good Girls.

Call The Midwife was pretty good as was Rain.

Oh crap...there's a woman on ATS who has Beth Dutton as her avatar. Let us pray she does not see this thread...

Good ones! I've watched a few episodes of PB, but I'll have to start from the beginning. Parasite? Hmmm...haven't heard of it yet...

Sysiphus was a good one for me, but im aa sucker for odd Time Travel Shows

I watched a pretty good one last night called "Boss Level". It's an action movie and sort of combines Die Hard and Groundhog Day.

The hero keeps re living the same day where people are trying to kill him and finally figures out he's the subject of a time travel experiment.

If you are a girl you will love them.
If you are a dude. you'll be bored outta your mind .
If you are a couple. You will enjoy it as a couple.

I think a good show, which is not at all like you'd expect, is Lucifer.

it's over now, but 6 seasons. Just fast forward through the parts later when they think singing is paramount.

Will miss that stoopid show, was not a brilliant thing, but absolutely entertaining.

I love the documentaries , The Untold series especially Crime & Penalties is a really interesting story , there are 3 or 4 more other episodes , one about caitlynn jenner. But was not interested in that.

OA, I agree. The star, Brit Marling is also the creator and producer of the series. It's only real drawback for me was that it was only two seasons. Her story really needed more to tell.

I have a warning as well. Steer clear of Sisyphus. It' starts really well, with action and time travel and high tech all wrapped up in mystery. While it starts well, it soon bogs down in fond reminiscences of it's characters where they either sit or stand in memories of their childhoods or other pleasant memories. Just filler with nothing going on. Snooze.
