The rules are simple.
1. Claim the party you support openly as Democrat or Republican.
2. Describe any NEGATIVES or problems you have with your party of choice.

Why? Because it's a very simple integrity check. If you can't offer any criticism for the party you support, then you're just a cheerleader and can't expect people who value critical thinking to take you seriously. The art of politics has been replaced with blind faith and loyalties that defy common sense.

If you can't do this or it doesn't apply to you, as in my case, (I'm an independent that's voted for different parties in the last few elections), and I have lots of problems with both parties, as well as, things I agree with, yes I know it's obvious but play along as it's geared towards dedicated democrats or republicans.

I've read some compelling posts from a lot of members here over the years and I understand this might be a little too uncomfortable for those with weak stances or agendas to entertain, but you might just gain the respect of others and learn more about your political opponents by playing...you might also expose yourself as something else in your response.

Neither, I prefer Trump as I'm laughing with him, not at him.

If i was in the US i'd probably be Republican, simply because the Democrats have lost the plot and then some.

The biggest problem i have with the Republican party, they're toothless, time to fight fire with fire.

Sure,

Currently Republican.

Why?

1) They are not trying to tax me into oblivion like the Democrats.
2) I like my firearms and will be keeping them.
3) I like my police department funded.
4) I like the military funded.
5) I like my other constitutional rights. They infract upon them much less than the Democrats.

The Democrats offer me nothing by misery and the promise of future misery, future segregation and racial hatred sponsored by them, future loss of rights, and eventually a police state of progressive crap with no freedom of speech that they do not agree with.

The Republicans are inept and do not fight or hold their ground. They are weak and let the Democrats run over them, even when they have a majority. Their only saving grace is to put the brakes on some of the Democrats insanity. Republicans suck. Again, the only thing they are good for is slowing down the train before it goes over the cliff and sometimes even hitting the pause button.

Questions?

get off your high horse.

the fact you're independent doesn't mean you're voting for politicians that are any less corrupt and morally bankrupt.

Well, I have enlightened , and I don't play the party
game anymore.
Earth itself is "two faced" Day and Night at the same time.

My propane torch is "two faced" because its gas makes the
torch tip hot , but the gas also makes my tank frosty cold ,
at the same time.

Spinning wheels are "two faced" .They may look like
they are spinning clockwise, but as soon as you
walk around to the other side, well you see,
they are spinning counterclockwise at the same time!

Suprise! Suprise! It's the same way with humanity!
Enjoy your stay here!

I don't mean to be a prick, but your devisive attitude is one of our biggest problems.

Why do we have to pick a side? Personally, I'm a conservative that votes for policies, not parties. If you're so invested in your political party that you can't see both sides have good ideas, you are beyond help.

Not sure why people want others to pick a side, when the vast majority of us agree on most issues that have nothing to do with right or left.

Ya really need to stop trying to divide people and reach out for common ground. Or you can keep asking folks to pick a side and keep the division going.

Share your cat pictures all you want, but we will force you to use representatives.

We will re-present you.

Eff that

Nothing will change until the "system" does.

I can't even spend time talking policy. It's a waste.

I'm not American but I generally favour Trump. However, my biggest gripe with him was when he made firing squads legal again.

I think it means something, something bad. What exactly is yet to be seen but weirdly, no one seems to want to talk about it...

neither, i don't support pedophile rings.

they take the extremes of both sides and pin the public against each other.

It's too easy to see now. The bankers control it all.

The Two party system in the United States is just an agreed upon strategy of control, agreed upon by the two parties .

It's simple but very effective psychology, The Left appeals to roughly half the people in the United states while the Right appeals to the other half .

This keeps the country divided , and a divided nation is so much easier to control than a United one . If you actually listen to Politicians talk on CSPAN and the MSM they are so full of smoke and misdirection its disgusting , In short they are " full of Sh*t " .

Its the oldest and longest running reality television show in America .

The Problem with the Left is they think they are smarter than everyone .

The Problem with the Right is they don't know the difference between Money and Power.

The Left fully understands that Power is more important than Money , The left see's money as a tool nothing more . Power is Knowledge and using that knowledge to blackmail people and controlling large demographics of easily manipulated people and lying then getting the MSM to fact check your lies as the Truth and Playing on the empathetic Emotions of people pushing them into an ethical corner with know way out so they just go along with the Program .

That is the way the Left consolidates Power.

I'm not really sure what the Rights strategy is in the modern day , it used to be War but they don't seem to have the stomach for War anymore which spells the end for the Right .

Nothing generates more Money than an Active War Nothing .

I support the Australia One party. It leans more Republican than Democrat, but we want to sink both Liberal and Labor as we drain the swamp in Canberra.

As for criticisms with A1, it is a small and still growing party. Not much in terms of resources, big ambitions even if we do manage to get a few seats with how entrenched the corruption is. Party membership is a bit tougher than other parties requiring a working with children check and no dual citizenship. It is slowing down the growth of the party, but hopefully helps with the quality of it members.

Being a new and smaller party, some things are still a bit disorganized and work in progress. It is headed in the right direction. The electoral commission is dragging its feet at registering the party, just have to wait and see if it even gets on the ballot. A lot of people are too scared or just don't want to know the scale of the corruption going on these days, a lot of it is murky and tough to sort out the facts from the fiction. Some of it is well investigated, just sealed up.

The United Australia Party is taking the lead at this time as Clive Palmer and Craig Kelly team up over covid. They are doing good on the covid issues, as for all the pedophiles in parliament they are not saying much. To rip out the political corruption by the roots and break down the glue that holds a lot of this corruption together, it is going to be tough.

The truth is both parties suck but there are still good people on both sides. Ran Paul is a republican I very much like, and let us remember that his father Ron Paul ran as a republican in the 2012 elections even though he's truly a libertarian. I see myself as a libertarian so I had to ask myself why so many libertarians seem to lean into the right or become republicans, and before long it became quite clear to me that the socialist principles underpinning a lot of the democratic arguments are deeply incompatible with concepts of liberty.

Liberals like to portray how progressive they are and how they respect personal liberty when it comes to things like legalization of marijuana, but they have little problem enacting a nanny state which will control innumerable aspects of our lives and force us all to live in bubble wrap where nothing offensive is ever uttered. Just look at how YouTube is trying to make everything "kid friendly" and absolutely ruining the platform in the process, really it's nothing but a way to demonetize and suppress opinions they don't like.

Democrats and Republicans both suck

They're ALL the same.

Most of the R's are RINOS and the Dems are doubling down with stupid daily.

IMO

Diclaimer: I'm Canadian and vote here only. Our "progressives" and "conservatives" are just as bad. So, now we have the "Progressive Conservative" Party, lmao. Sort of equal to a RepubliCrat Party.

Okay, I will play:

I prefer the Libertarian party.

A few bad features of this party include over-idealization of the abilities of individuals, and disunity (hah ... it seems like there is hardly ever any unity with the Libertarians, but that is almost their definition too!)

Oops.. .. I said 'few'; so, here is one more: they are such lackluster fund raisers that they never get enough large corporate and special interest donations to seemingly ever run a big campaign, anywhere!

1. Republican
2. Far too many RINOs populating the party which has lead them to compromise on Conservative principles too often and lead the overall party in a slow drift leftward.
