Last year I bought a computer, I did not know Lenovo is a chines brand, I have not use it just because I heard they have some spyware. I research a little and everywhere I looked it was the same. If true, where is the piece I need to remove, I did not use it after I found out, and I want to use it. any clues? this is one of the many links I saw saying they are spying. www.pcmag.com... Thank you.

Do yourself a favor. Find an A+ Certified technician in your area who has earned a good reputation and go talk to that person if you have concerns. I'm not going to add to the myriad of opinions already in this thread and confuse the issue even further.

Here is a link to a brilliant Symantec Secuirity Suite. It's called Endpoint Protection by Broadcom.
The webpage is a Russian site but don't let that put you off as the suite is American if that makes you feel better.
When the site translates to English click on the green button and choose International English version for 64 bit.
I've been using it for 10 months since I bought a new laptop and got rid of the McAfee security it came with.
It says 60 day trial but with unmanaged client it's free forever,I've even download the newer versions from the same page as and when they became available.
Just install it and that's it set,no need to change any settings or anything.

You own a Lenovo server ?
My next question would be , why?
Read that article again.

You need to read the OP again

Actually , you need to take your own advice and read the article as well .
That is about SERVERS
It's old news either way .
One of the reasons the US government started CFIUS .

Lenovo is an IBM company that manufactures in China.

Like other computer manufacturing companies.

No it is not.
Lenovo is a private business in China.
Owned by Lenovo .

LOL sure that is always an option, I like your code, people are ether paranoid or mental, but the true is, there is a bad force out there, being vigilant is not a bad thing. I am asking, I do value your opinions, I had many strangers help me, God uses anyone in your life to put you where you need to be, I trust God, but instincts are the language or the divine. I think you mean well,
thank you

I think they were being quite conservative with the WiFi6 spec. It doesn't seem to have the same level of 'new tech' gee-whiz possibilities that 5G had. And it isn't optimized for voice.

I haven't read any '6G' spec data, so I don't know what it might hold.

To be fair I am not an IT expert but there are plenty of help videos and tips online such as this one.

Someone here may be of far more help than me on that one, it's the kind of thing that is intentionally difficult to bypass but not if you know what you are doing and I do not really know enough to be of much help there.

I run 3 lenovo T410s thinkpads and they are faster then the new lenovos.
True i run my computers on linux mint and have never had a virus on any of them..
I bought all 3 for parts and for less then $100 each. the only thing wrong them was a fan error. dusted bout the fans and only one i had to replace a bad fan.
When new these were $1000+ business laptops.

the only problem i have is counterfeit T410 batteries for these computers.
