Cherry picked how? They have only done 4 of these in 20 years. This one happened only a few months before the covid outbreak. Please show me the cherry picking.

My guess is you have no idea what you are talking about, nor have you watched their scenario or really even looked at the info from Event 201. (It's obvious because it specifically says they have only done 3 before this on the site)

"They" are just one of literally thousands of groups making these kind of simulations. While this particular group may have hit close to the mark possibly by pure chance, there are countless similar simulations out there that ended up being extremely inaccurate.

I'm what you'd call an older member. I grew up with doom porn like this as part of my life. One of the favorites was guessing who would nuke us first, the Americans or the Russians. I've seen every kind of scenario you can imagine from mutant smallpox escaping from a laboratory to space spore. And none of them have killed us yet. It was only a matter of time before somebody got one right through sheer weight of numbers.

To me, this is little more than putting enough monkeys in front of enough typewriters till one of them randomly whacks out a half good smutty Xena Warrior Princess fan-fic.

May I remind you that up until recently one of the favorites was that a new swine flu variant would emerge from a south Asian factory farm and would sweep the world. Then after SARS Chinese live animal markets became the flavor of the month for doom porn.

Yes, this particular scenario was sort of a little bit close to what is happening, but it's one of thousands that aren't even close.

Except the recommendations and guidelines of these monkeys were the blueprints for the global pandemic response and it is the reason the owner of a software development company practically became the defacto global covid tsar.

When there are that many people all making doom porn the odds are that at least one of them will get it right by pure chance.

I've been hearing about animal viruses crossing over to humans for decades. It's been a staple of science fiction since at least the 1950s, so it's no wonder that somebody decided to do a study on it.

Fun fact, the entire reasons that there was a research lab in Wuhan in the first place is that that area was considered a hot spot for bat coronavirus, and thus a high risk area for animal to human transmission.

It's not a coincidence that they were there, they were there because somebody thought that something like this might happen there, so the started researching in order to gain advanced warning if it did.

You can keep saying that about the Wuhan lab, it doesn't make it right. The closest relative of covid is a bat corona virus sourced from a cave more than a thousand miles south of wuhan and was brought to that lab to be worked on in the gain of function project using humanized rats with human lung tissue as intermediary animals, as they worked on making it transmissible from human to human, which it originally was not.

But you are free to believe the natural origin theory, as convoluted and unlikely as it is. A thousand mile journey of a bat corona virus that originally could only be contracted from close contact with bat feces and fumes and along that journey it passed through an unknown animal suddenly gaining the function to transmit from human to human.

You say nature created covid, I say it was Shi Zhengli, the bat lady, head of the wuhan lab that created it.
