The Telegraph is dodgy PM Boris the Butcher’s number one flag waving newspaper. Boris used to write a column for them and his ex-chief advisor, Dominic Cummings recently revealed that in private Boris would refer to The Telegraph as ‘His real boss’. Interpret that how you will, but it can be no less disturbing.

In short, when the Telegraph prints anything about politics it’s part of the Tory ptb agenda (which usually means it’s bad for the rest of us).

This story is basically telling people that the virus isn’t as bad as you thought - it’s all ok, now get back to work on the overcrowded trains.

This is part of a concerted psy-op in this back to work agenda.

It comes as Boris eases all restrictions in one go; something the whole scientific community is telling him is a bad move. Only his inner circle of ‘scientists’ - those under the cosh - are in agreement with him.
Europe looks on with worry

This pincer move to change the public mindset has a few elements in play…

It comes as one of those bought and paid for inner circle, Neil Ferguson proclaims Covid will be over by October…
Covid-19: Prof Neil Ferguson ‘overconfident’

On the same day as Boris announces that the double jabbed from the US and EU won’t need to quarantine when they enter the U.K.
Double-jabbed US and EU travellers can avoid England quarantine, ministers decide

The same week the story runs that Boris is pushing forward with his plan to double the amount employers pay to staff on furlough…
employ ers to contribute 20% of furloughed employees’ unworked pay from 1 August Read more:

The pattern here is £££! Boris wants to stop paying out of treasury to furloughed workers and start getting their tax receipts back into his coffers.

We all want this, but Boris wants it whatever the costs. What was it he said, ‘Let the bodies pile high before I’ll lockdown again.’ (not sic)

This Telegraph story will have been proof read by Boris et al, indeed probably it’s first draft written by Boris’ people. It adds to the fabrication that Boris is doing the right thing by letting the virus run wild again (his refusal to impose restrictions on travel from India is the sole reason the delta variant, dubbed by commentators here as the Johnson Variant, is now running wild across the western world). He’s letting all the vaccine work thus far be pissed up the wall. All for the short term gains that his rich corporate donors are endlessly lobbying him for.

Another factor is that Boris is likely worried about the negative headlines created by the sudden jobs cull that this doubling of employer contributions may bring. Winding down furlough obviously makes it less affordable to keep the masses of not-working staff on companies’ payrolls. Many hundreds of thousands - probably millions could be added to the unemployed total overnight…
But stories like his bitch Neil Ferguson’s prophesising that Covid will be over by October, along with NHS ‘leak’ that Covid wasn’t so bad after all in today’s Telegraph may go some way to convince employers to keep hold of those workers, rather than fire them now to only have to rehire in October.

In all probability by October we’ll either be back in full lockdown thanks to Boris’ rush to end restriction combined with the onset of autumn, or only a little closer to the end of Covid, but by no means ‘over’. The latter imho is unlikely.

Imo Boris expects a bad winter with another lockdown no matter what we do, so he’s giving his donors as much ‘back in business’ time as possible before then, no matter how many unnecessary deaths that causes… Let’em pile high, hey Boris!

Plus, i suspect that these current decreases in furlough won’t be rowed back on when we enter another lockdown. So those jobs will go, but not in such an overnight, headline grabbing manner. Instead, Boris is likely hoping that this concerted ‘positivity push’ will make those job loses a drip drip process between now and the next lockdown, rather than it all happening in one go with the august 1st furlough cut.

Perhaps the the most deplorable aspect of this psy-op is Boris’ attempt to cover his own @rse! Despite him pushing through this instant easing of restrictions in face of abundant of scientific protest, he nevertheless tells us to ‘be careful’ - that ‘it’s not over yet’ etc. Worst of all that ‘it’s the public’s responsibility’… or in other words, when the inevitable happens he can say ‘it’s not my fault.’
