Found an interesting OpEd on the topic of CRT and the authors assesment of it. His conclusion corresponds to my speculation that indeed, CRT is nothing more than indoctrination to pave the way for acceptance of a system racial preferences in the workplace and beyond.

See:
www.wsj.com...

Of course its behind the WSJ infamous pay wall, but a few exerpts to give you an idea of his line of thinking:

critical race theory amounts to little more than a fancy argument for affirmative action, and always has. The theory comes out of the legal academy, and early proponents argued that race, ethnicity and gender should be used as academic credentials in hiring and promoting professors. It’s less a serious academic discipline than a hustle. It posits that racial inequality today is the sole fault of whites and the sole responsibility of whites to solve—through racial preferences for blacks. It’s employed by elites primarily for the benefit of elites, though in the name of helping the underprivileged. Ultimately, it’s about blaming your problems on other people—based on their race—which might be the last thing we should be teaching our children.

Meanwhile, the NEA’s sister outfit, the American Federation of Teachers, has joined forces with Ibram X. Kendi, an activist-scholar who openly embraces racial discrimination against whites. “The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination,” Mr. Kendi asserted in “How to Be an Anti-Racist.” Sadly, that sort of circular drivel is what passes for deep thinking on race today.

Interesting, so its about justifying racial discrimination against whites.........

So of course, many parents across the nation and some governors have spoken out against CRT and as a result, the Teachers Unions have assured everyone that they wont endorse use of CRT. However, according to Bill O'Reilly, while they assure they wont use CRT, they simply repackage the CRT curriculum and present it in a different way.

At its annual meeting earlier this month, the NEA adopted a proposal stating that it is “reasonable and appropriate for curriculum to be informed by academic frameworks for understanding and interpreting the impact of the past on current society, including critical race theory.” More, the organization pledged to “fight back against anti-CRT rhetoric” and issue a study that “critiques empire, white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, patriarchy, cisheteropatriarchy, capitalism, ableism, anthropocentrism, and other forms of power and oppression at the intersections of our society.”

So......they have pledged to fight anti-CRT and at the same time, they are going to issue a study that analyses the need for the elements of CRT which will give them cover incorporate the elements of CRT all the while re-branding the curriculum to avoid controversy.

The authors conclusion:

It’s less a serious academic discipline than a hustle. It posits that racial inequality today is the sole fault of whites and the sole responsibility of whites to solve—through racial preferences for blacks. It’s employed by elites primarily for the benefit of elites, though in the name of helping the underprivileged. Ultimately, it’s about blaming your problems on other people—based on their race—which might be the last thing we should be teaching our children.

All the above from:www.wsj.com...

What the author says makes perfect sense to me in that its widely known that education and particularly higher education is an industry in and of itself. CRT is its own piece of that Industry; its a business model complete with text books, seminar presentations, handouts and slides. Now of course, Universities must offer degrees in CRT to train professionals to teach CRT at all levels of the Academic Industry. And all this while teaching something that promotes the hiring of Black Professors and Teachers and Administrators to teach CRT k-12 and in the Universities.

A la Bill Clinton, CRT is an Engine of Economic Recovery..........for Black Americans.

Yes,

That is pretty obvious. After decades of failing to get results with "class warfare" which worked to usher in Communism in other nations, the tactic has changed to full blown Racism, segregation, and legal discrimination against the "Identified Oppressors"

Remember their tactics and playbook, there is always an Oppressed and an Oppressor needed to stoke the fires of hate to bring you to power.

I don't think they're wrong, but I don't think they are entirely right either. Racial preferences are just one tool in the toolbox to embrace and create hierarchies of power...

Trans ideology and activism operates by the same principles.

Covid fearmongering and activism -- both the lockdowns and now the vax -- operate by the same principles.

The entire left/right paradigm operates by the same principles.

Divide-and-conquer. Label everyone, then point fingers and blame our fellow citizens first and let the hate spew. Personify and then demonize and vilify. Demand government "fix" it. Demand protected classes. Demand privileges for the few at the expense of the rights of the many. Cancel anyone that objects or dissents.

The ultimate goal is ultimate power for the few over the many.

Those who do not learn their history are doomed to repeat it; sometimes, they even demand they return to it because they think it's empowering, like using the "n" word.

Actual racism has been on the decline for decades so the left had to "re-imagine" racism.

CRT is teaching people how to be racist.

CRT is a deflection to what the US government has real plans for.

Without racism, the Marxist left doesn't have a platform.

It's also obvious that every trait of success and independence is being labeled a characteristic of the oppressor class as well, so much so that even those who don't really belong to the oppressor class will if they display those traits.

The rulers need those who will be ruled, not those who can think and govern themselves.
