I go for a walk with a friend every other day. He's now had his two jabs and has come down the Arsehole variant big time.

Last week we walked into a supermarket. Well, he walked in, I followed a few seconds behind.
I meet him at the bakery section where he nearly has a fit when he sees my unmasked face. "Where's your mask", he asks in horror, "I have some in the car, I'll go get you one". He was literally panicking.

# off, I hinted.

He actually walked away from me because he didn't want to be seen with someone not wearing a mask. An Adult man scared to be seen with a "Breaker of the Rules".

I started playing a game where when he would walk into one aisle I would start to walk down from the other end. When he would see me he would turn about but try not to make it seem obvious that it was me he was trying to avoid.

I was having the time of my life living in this Grown man's head.

The Schadenfreude is strong in this one also.

Coincidentally, He's been unwell since his first Jab. Hypertension level 3. He actually blamed it on the salt in a big bag of nuts he ate the night before.

Operative word being 'can', not 'do'. There are studies, and they all show the vaccine greatly reduces both infection and spreading. I believe one study showed that with only one dose of the moderna vaccine only 1/3 were found to be positive for the virus. That means less than 1/3 would have been contagious. That is also after 1 shot, not the full 2.

Different variants will likely be more or less infectious with vaccination, only time will give us the data we need to make better conclusions.
