An Indiana grandmother became the first individual sentenced for participating in the Jan. 6 Capitol Riot but will avoid jail time, according to The Washington Post.
Anna Morgan Lloyd of Bloomfield, Indiana, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth to three years of probation, 120 hours of community service, and $500 worth of restitution for her involvement in the Capitol Riot, according to The Washington Post. The 49-year-old previously struck a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor charge of unlawfully entering the Capitol building, The Washington Post reported.
In a previous Facebook post, Lloyd described Jan. 6 as the “best day ever,” The Associated Press (AP) reported. However, Lloyd told Lamberth during a court appearance, “I’m ashamed that it became a savage display of violence that day. And I would have never been there if I had a clue it was going to turn out that way,” according to The AP. “It was never my intent to be a part of anything that’s so disgraceful to our American people,” she added in her apology to the court.

The prosecutors who sought probation for Lloyd noted that she was not involved in any violence or destruction, or planned to breach the Capitol building beforehand, according to The AP.

“Legally, I could give you the six months, but is that really what we want our judiciary to do?” Lamberth told Lloyd, according to The AP.

Indiana Grandma Sentenced To No Jail Time For Role In ‘Insurrection’
This grandmother, and her daughter, have been put through a trial and at least the grandmother was made to apologize for protesting, otherwise she would have spent jail time. The worse part is that far-leftists/anti-Trumpers including in the media have made articles claiming she should have been sent to jail when there is no proof whatsoever this grandmother committed ANY crime. She was just there, and that is enough for the authoritarians in the left/anti-Trumpers to attempt to send to jail, or make an example of, any American whom dares protest against an authoritarian government which supposedly won when there are inconsistencies, as well as the lost of "custody of tens of thousands of ballots" which are more than enough to have turned the election in favor of China Biden.
Heck, they even state she didn't commit any crime in the article.

Yet the judge claimed this...

What law says it is okay to legally put in prison a person for protesting and not committing any acts of violence, or any acts of destruction?... Many Americans that were there were let in. There were even Capitol police behind the one woman whom was murdered that day and did nothing to stop her or to stop the people whom broke the window...
This is proof that not only are democrats/progressives/never-Trumpers in control of democrat hell holes authoritarians, but it proves that the democrat party has made protesting a crime when you protest against them and their illegal tactics.
Neither this grandmother, or her daughter should have been on trial. There is no proof she committed any crime, and unless you are a democrat/never-Trumper in the U.S. protesting has never been a crime. Except that now democrats/progressives/never-Trumpers have made protesting against them a crime.
Pretty soon these authoritarian aholes are going to make it legal to deny people a right to work, or any other rights, if you dare protest against their authoritarianism and their lies. Heck, it is already happening.
Patriot grandma from Indiana Anna Morgan-Lloyd, 49, received the first criminal sentence stemming from the January 6 pro-election integrity protest at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., where police allowed protesters into the building. To ease her sentencing, Morgan-Lloyd wrote a little movie report on the Holocaust drama Schindler’s List and the anti-racism film Just Mercy and submitted it to the presiding judge on her lawyer’s instructions. Welcome to the progressive criminal justice system in modern America!

Are you complaining because the judge threatened to throw the book at her, or because he kindly opted to release her from custody with no further action required? And now she's going home with a cool story to tell about how she witnessed history for the last time in her long illustrious career.
Why are you making an issue out of this.
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser told federal law enforcement to STAND DOWN just one day before these known pro-Trump agitators arrived. “To be clear, the District of Columbia is not requesting other federal law enforcement personnel and discourages any additional deployment," she wrote.
