That would have happened anyway. Just a coincidence she had a trial "vaccine" beforehand.

They get fat, but they still don't die of heart issues at 13.

It's true when I was a kid we had no video games, we went outside and rode our bikes to the local creek and caught frogs, turtles and crayfish in the summer, preteen boy stuff. In the winter we played street hockey and shoveled snow.
And in school they made us run every day, or some other form of intense physical activity that made you sweat.
There was nobody getting fat in our families back then.

I grew up the same way,still have the scars to prove it.If I could do it all over again,I would,gladly.

The snow shoveling comment stirred a memory in me.

When we were young,we would just rake in the cash when it snowed.I'm talking hundreds of dollars split between 2 youngsters.When snowblowers became all the rage,it put us out of business.

Technology is making us soft,imho.
