Lately I've noticed subtle changes in search results, I've also noticed many here noticing the same thing. Out of concern I began to do some digging that seems to confirm my suspicions. From the article.

Link here: magnetricity.blog...

A couple years ago, I took interest in DuckDuckGo while looking for alternatives to Google’s products and services. DuckDuckGo’s appeal was that it was a search engine that protects the privacy of its users, and that search results from DuckDuckGo faced relatively little censorship.

That last point is particularly important when looking for news outlets, as mainstream search engines usually prop up corporate information media with a clear left-wing bias. When a search engine is being trusted to provide information sources, and the corporate entity providing the search engine has a left-wing bias, there’s a clear conflict of interest, and they cannot be trusted to provide honest, unfiltered results.

While privacy is important, what’s especially important to me is that search results, particularly news results, remain unfiltered by the political biases of those presenting the information. In recent times, it has been especially challenging to find search engines that aren’t only pro-privacy, but also free speech.

It’s because of this that it’s disturbing that DuckDuckGo has been making donations to far-left groups, as was pointed out in the following video:

Video and description from article: In the short 2+min video it discusses who Duck Duck Go helps fund , how they make money and who they support, one of which is a Soros funded organization dedicated to opposing Christianity. The video also discusses alternatives to Duck Duck Go.

If any one has any other safe or safer alternatives to Duck Duck Go please post them, in the video it also gives two other viable solutions to Duck Duck Go.

thank You All and have a fantastic weekend.

This perhaps.

Search engine that supports YOUR Values
Use your address bar to find quick results for anything you want to search for with Result Hunter.

In a time when big tech is in turmoil, switch to the conservative search engine.
chrome.google.com...

I just uninstalled duck Duck Go, and then let them know why I was uninstalling it.

I`m now giving Qwant a try. Have you used Result Hunter a long time?

I prefer the use of TOR and Startpage.com

They are not "woke" or political in any way. Is Startpage also based on Google's manipulated results?

No matter what you choose, be advised it is best to shield your actual identity and other identifying information (such as IP address, your MAC, screen size, etc). Otherwise, you are trusting these virtue signalling leftist companies *not* to make your data available to "doxers"

I don't need a search engine tailored to one side , just had a look for a Conservative search engine that might help you out.

Qwant success, I have been looking for a Dan Bongino episode where one of the topics was " Why are Liberals so dumb " with Duck Duck Go I wasn't able to find it but with Qwant it was No1 in the results as show No #1490.

I literally have been looking for this show for more than a week now, I consider it to be one of Dan's best shows, the kids really wanted to re watch it.

Man I am so Happy.

DuckDuckGo is NOT a good alternative either way. It's hosted in the U.S. which means it's under the "Five Eyes" (which means they can be subpoenaed) leaving users exposed. There are other things as well, but I don't have sources for that handy so won't go into detail. (Worth looking up if you're interested.)

I recommend Qwant.com or Startpage.com if you want an alternative to Google that also respects your privacy.

The best search engine is the Google on my phone, it knows exactly what I'm looking for with me only having to get about two letters into the search. It's amazing how good it is, it's like it's listening or something but I know it isn't.

Yup.

And you know why I don't care? What's coming is inevitable, you'd jump off a bridge if you had an inkling of where things are going. I should do a thread on the whole IMS aspect of future tech and social interaction.

I often use Yandex as a search engine and it seems to be a solid choice. It is Russian so I trust it more than a search engine based in the U.S.

Am I reading this from people who are afraid of vaccinations because of 5G? While holding a perfect capable tool to spy on them in every detail of their online life in their hands?

And you want to go back to google, the universal data-kraken, the grandmother of all-your-data-belongs-to-me?

Not a single doubt?

What did foxnews tell you now? What bs did they feed you this day, that you completely disregard any chance of having a not-absolute loss of privacy over your BELIEVE that you might not get your "values" correctly valued by a search engine?

If you really want this, nobody will hinder you - the people worried about privacy will give you up. The people who want to sell everything they can find out about you will embrace you with open arms and data ports.

But know this: the fear about "not having my values regarded by this search engine" is the most stupid thing I have heard for a long time and leads to another steep downfall of this website by users who are willing to follow like sheep while thinking they are oh so clever.

This is not the way to solve your problem with values, the true news and disregarding your privacy.
