It is a tool...a financial tool. Inherently a tool is not bad...its the users and how they use it that is bad.

Well what he said looks to have cost him upwards of 161k so far in unrealized losses. Depending on how big his portfolio is with his broker he may or may not have been margin called already. If your unrealized loss (read as the loss you would incur if you closed at the time but havent actually closed yet) grows past a certain percent of your actual assets they will margin called you and you basically in laymans terms must close your position right then and there...its like a termination of your loan to reduce the brokers liabilities.

OPs "not financial advice" was as bad as I said it was on day 1 so far...hope no one followed him from here...

Yes, very confident. I put enough to the side to hold for about two months if I need to. Hopefully I'll cover well before then. We will see what happens. Far from biting my nails just yet 🙃

I covered at 214 today. Made just over 400k.

I wanted to wait a few more weeks but it seems there is still lots of people jumping into the GME game. I'll wait a while and short it again.

Wishful thinking, applying stochastic analysis to a stock driven by public opinion and manipulation through social media is fanciful to say the least. Even at $200 its majorly overvaluing a dying company propped up by nothing more than hysteria and FOMO.

Exactly. Look it's at 200 now. My prediction is it will settle at around 60-80. The hard part is guessing when not if it will crash. It's looking to me like just a few more months. Within a few weeks will be a good time to short again.

Personally I can see it bombing all the way down to around $20.

I don’t take big risks tho, prefer to play the long game.
