Anyone else following the Belize story?

IDK, my understanding is the correct etiquette for turning over a pistol to somebody else is to drop the magazine, lock the slide back, check the chamber to make sure its empty, then hand over the unloaded weapon, grip first.

Either the cop was careless (and who the hell releases their service pistol anyway??) or the woman is lying IMHO.

The plot thickens...

Now they're saying a quantity of drugs were found at the scene. The blackmail scenario is sounding more plausible by the day.

I certainly hope they are taking some DNA samples off certain anatomical parts of the cop's body...and NOT his shoulder!

Maybe she got him to drop his gunbelt so she could do him a little "favor", and then tries to go all Lorena Bobbit on him. As he's busy hoppin' around on the dock, she grabs the gun and drops him like a sack of turnips.

Seems plausible, no?

She may have links to rich people, but Belize has legal jurisdiction. Close ties to the UK just means she'll have a cell with a fan.
