IDK, my understanding is the correct etiquette for turning over a pistol to somebody else is to drop the magazine, lock the slide back, check the
chamber to make sure its empty, then hand over the unloaded weapon, grip first.
Either the cop was careless (and who the hell releases their service pistol anyway??) or the woman is lying IMHO.
Now they're saying a quantity of drugs were found at the scene. The blackmail scenario is sounding more plausible by the day.
I certainly hope they are taking some DNA samples off certain anatomical parts of the cop's body...and NOT his shoulder!
