I can't really tell, but that pistol/rifle(?) looks like a bayonet, with the yellow blade protruding out the end of the barrel. I guess it's for the ducks? What the bowling pins are all about is anyone's anyone's guess!

Well, that has "made in China" written all over it. If the back of the packaging has a story explaining the playset, I'm sure it's among the most hilarious translation of Chinese to English imaginable as most of these crap toys' packaging is.

OK, I recall we also had little doctor's play kits, and a bit older even a battery operated game called "Operation", although generally those games didn't mix with rifles and darts. And huge tablets you can stick in next bed's pill-box and observe what happens. Yeah, back then it was all made in Hong Kong or Taiwan, nothing came from China yet.

Just a memory, but those two ducks remind me of the three ceramic ducks (the only "China" we knew back then) most "lower" middle-class people had on their walls.
But boys will be boys, and invariably there were only two ducks, and now there's none.

And exactly why can't little mis Doctor get in a little bowling pin and duck target practice before heading into the clinic? What only boys can do that? You guys are so sexist.
