Could be as simple as Bill wants to move to his new smart city in Arizona and she wants to stay in Washington.

I heard he left her to pursue his chair jumping life.

Maybe the Gates couple will divorce amicably, and their Foundation will continue as a collaboration. There is nothing to say they are fighting over the cash, nor that it will be messy.

Divorces happen. Most divorces end up being routine without the nastiness which is what the celebrity-driven media will want.

Whats a few billion in a divorce anyway.

I think they will divorce intelligently.

There has been little to none public personal drama with this couple in 27 years.

I don't expect that to change.

The Financial Times has in the last 12 hours, put up an interview of Mrs Gates. I haven't watched it beyond a few mins, as I saw all her hand waving (just like how Mr Gates talks, fake passion innit) and couldn't be bothered watching anymore. The comments section gave me the impression that she did not mention the divorce.

Melinda Gates is absolutely a bond villain as well. Billionaires are not elected so they can piss right off.
