Reports coming in that an Iranian cargo ship is under attack in the red sea
www.aljazeera.com...

An Iranian cargo ship believed to be a base for the paramilitary Revolutionary Guard and anchored for years in the Red Sea off Yemen was attacked. Iran’s foreign ministry on Wednesday confirmed the attack, saying the MV Saviz was hit with an unknown explosion that caused “minor damage” around 6am local time in the Red Sea on Tuesday, close to the shores of Djibouti.

What's interesting.. is that Iranian state media have admitted the ship is a Revolutionary Guard base

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — An Iranian cargo ship believed to be a base for the paramilitary Revolutionary Guard and anchored for years in the Red Sea off Yemen has been attacked, Tehran acknowledged Wednesday.

Add another aspect, Israel has admitted publicaly it attacked the ship
www.jpost.com...

Israel notified the US that it is responsible for the Tuesday attack on an Iranian cargo ship affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, an American official told The New York Times.
A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Wednesday that the Saviz was lightly damaged in the Red Sea off the coast of Djibouti at about 6 a.m. on Tuesday due to an explosion, adding that the cause of the explosion is under investigation.

The fact a limpet mine was used seems symbolic, being that the ships carry Saudi oil were also attacked with Limpet mines in the past 18months.

Iran was always the target of the Obama, Bush administrations... It seems Biden is making sure it gets done this time!

Biden wouldn't know where Iran is these days and would likely just cuddle his attack pooch.

But you are right, someone wants things to heat up.

Only real solution is not to play the game.

Iran is the only thing Joe remembers about the 2020 election.

Jill reminds him every morning that he not only ran, but won.

It seems to me someone,OK its Israel-does not want the Iranians to be re signed onto Obamas nuclear deal that Trump cancelled.
It looks to me as though Iran are being baited into retalliation, maybe to start bigger hostilities or even a war which I imagine would put a stop to the current talks.

Israel always disagreed with that nuclear deal..

Iran so far seem to be showing restraint IMO-what do you think would happen if a US or Isreali special forces ship was attacked in the gulf?

So Israel reportedly admit to the act and it's Biden's fault ?

Israel notified the US that it is responsible for the Tuesday attack on an Iranian cargo ship affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, an American official told The New York Times.

This attack being US sanctioned makes no sense given the realities on the ground.

A number of top Senate Republicans have sent a letter to President Biden protesting efforts to return to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran and any lifting of sanctions on the Islamic Republic.

The letter comes as Biden officials are participating in indirect talks with Iran and international signatories to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the formal name for the nuclear deal, on how best to bring the U.S. and Iran back to compliance with the agreement.

Biden is trying to calm the tensions Trump stoked . Netanyahu is just doing what Netanyahu does ... even though he's an illegitimate leader who can't form a government.
Accusing Biden of being a war mongerer is nonsense given the actions of the other guy for the last 4 years

Oh yeah? What actions are those? What major wars did America endure?

Compared to Biden who voted for the Iraqi War and herald eights years in the ME which resulted in the greatest quagmire ever?

Nevermind the Abraham accords, your Anti Trump stance literally blinds you to reason and facts.

Unilaterally pulling out of the Multinational Nuclear deal , without the biggest player the deal was voided.

Not nearly as much as your allegiance to Trump blinds you.

Flashback
After 8 Years Of Unbroken War, Obama Hands Over Conflicts To Trump

Obama came to office eight years ago vowing to end U.S. military interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet President-elect Trump stands to inherit the nation's longest war ever in Afghanistan, as well as renewed fighting in Iraq that has spread to Syria.

The outgoing president was reminded of the persistence of those wars at the pomp-filled farewell ceremony the Pentagon put on for him him earlier this month at a nearby military base.

"Mr. President, we've been at war throughout your tenure," said Gen. Joesph Dunford, chosen by Obama in 2015 to be chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. "That's a period longer than any other American president."

you should ask the crew of the USS Liberty what the US did in retaliation against a sustained attack by Israeil in June of 67. We didn't even look at them sideways.

So "Israel is continuing to play a dangerous game. That ship was nowhere Israelic frontiers or on its way there"

You being serious? Iran has been moving its influence westwards relentlessly over the past decade. Iran has moved into Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, plus Yemen. Israel is now very much threatened and is taking defensive action to defend its borders from this threat.

Started by Bush. OK.

Could have been ended by Obama. Was it?

Could have been ended by Trump. Was it?

Will it be ended by Biden...?? Probably not.

So. How are things better without the Bad Orange Man, again? Seems things are ratcheting up, now that he's gone... Hmm...doesn't that make you wonder, even a little??

Been watching for a war with Iran for the past 15 years or so. But if it happens it looks like it gets nasty there. One of the prophesies call what happens after the war "the days of the tribulation of the carcass".

If I was in Iran I would be afraid. Very afraid.

Iran does have China and Russia on there side though.
It would be a vastly different scenario to the Iraq invasion just by the geography of Iran alone-add China and Russia to the mix and things could spiral fast IMO.

But what would Russia and China do if Iran does something stupid and Israel or the US replies with a volley of nukes?

Once the nukes are going off they can't do anything much without touching off WW3 and losing 50-75% of their populations. I think they will sit it out when it gets there.
