Breaking right now shooting at the US Capitol Building

Apparently there has been a shooting at the Capitol building.
The story says 2 Capitol police officers have been shot.

The US Capitol has been locked down after unconfirmed reports of two Capitol Police officers getting shot outside. A Park Police helicopter was seen touching down at the east entrance.

Ambulances were dispatched to the Capitol complex, and video from the scene showed a black car smashed against one of the security barriers. Scanner traffic said two Capitol Police officers have been shot, but that has not been confirmed.

CRITICAL INCIDENT: USCP is responding to the North Barricade vehicle access point along Independence Avenue for reports someone rammed a vehicle into two USCP officers. A suspect is in custody. Both officers are injured. All three have been transported to the hospital.

Talking heads, can't remember which outlet as I'm flipping channels, are assuming they threw themselves in front of the car to stop the car from penetrating the perimeter of the US Capitol.

No reason to throw themselves in front of the car, they have barricades blocking the streets.
I just saw a news alert from Fox News saying that the suspect jumped from his car wielding a knife, and they shot him.

Though I would not encourage or condone this kind of idiotic action, our so-called public servants have brought this on themselves, and I would not put it past them to find a reason to keep the castle walls and troops in place.

Two officers are said to be injured, one critically, the sources said. Law enforcement sources tell ABC News the suspect is dead.
