Were you hoping to see your Biden Bucks? Let's look and see who is gonna determine if you're eligible or not. It wouldn't be our favorite bartender tuned Congress-critter would it?
If we thought different we'd be wrong.

Yep, there's not going to be an equitable distribution. You ain't ever seeing that $1400. It disappeared as quick as a Keystone pipe dream.

They got the 1.9T stimulus ... and now it's time to play keep away. From you.

Story Link Debate looms among members in the Democrat caucus over which Americans should be eligible to receive another round of coronavirus relief payments directly from the federal government, as some seek to tighten the threshold for eligibility for future payments.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) responded sharply to reports of her Democrat colleagues in the upper chamber vying to alter the eligibility threshold for relief payments. With Vice President Kamala Harris casting the deciding vote, the Senate approved President Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief proposal, which provides $1,400 direct payments to the American people. Full direct payments of $600 in the last coronavirus relief measure were provided to individuals making up to $75,000.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), a more conservative member of the Democrat caucus, is seeking to modify the threshold to “ensure upper-income taxpayers are not eligible” for the payments “according to a nonbinding amendment he and several other Democrats plan to push during votes on budget documents,” as NBC News reported. According to his office, he believes that the threshold, for reduced payments, should be capped at $75,000. In other words, reduced payments would begin at the $50,000 mark.

Possibly my favorite news article of the day.

I heard that people with kids are going to get something like 3000 per dependent child. Rush out and put in some applications to adopt a dozen or two kids.

Good.

Let them eat cake. Anyone dumb enough to vote for Democrats because they thought they were actually going to help them in some way may finally learn a lesson.

But who are we kidding. They will give less and simply blame Republicans and it is all good.

If they were smart, anyone making less than they did a year ago due to unemployment or under-employment due to covid should qualify.... Idiots.

Oh, and for all those who have not paid their rent or mortgage.... Do you think they are going to forgive your debt?

I am quite frankly surprised that AOC did not tie the stimulus checks to her list of Trump voters.

Deny all those people!!!

It is almost surreal now living as an American citizen in the new USSA.

When do I get my gold star?

Or do I not qualify for that as a Native American?

My wife was out of work from Jan 2020 to Jan 2021. She couldn't get a job (even a volunteer position) due to the Plannedemic. She didn't get a penny.

We both voted straight ticket Republican. I'm thinking we made a list and won't ever get anything as long as Biden remains installed. That's okay with me. Hopefully, somebody will come along and remove the hands from my pockets who believe in transferring what I've earned to a bunch of gimmiedats who will find any way to avoid work..

What does it matter? $1400 is two weeks worth of wages at a barely non-poverty level job. $1400 is less than nearly every place i've seen for rent in the last few months per month. $1400 is # all. What happens in a few days after the $1400 is handed out and the majority of it is spent by people then what? What next week? Next month?

What does it matter if you delay your foreclosure, eviction, termination of service by a week or two? You're still #ed. These breadcrumb pittances are bull#. They don't change the fact people can't work or make money.

Government money is slavery. Period. I learned this the hard way years ago. There's no such thing as free money. The government gives zero #s about you, me or anyone else. Any offer of any money in any way from the government in the form of either loans or 'free money' is a lie and a trap to enslave you.

Kind of unrelated...but...Government grants are the #ing worst in my opinion. They give you the illusion of doing good while being a literal wage slave to the government and inevitably you'll be forced to go against your morals and beliefs.

Hey Dims, those who got $600 are owed $1400 more.

Duh!

That should be easy enough to answer... Though given the evident lack of any sort of intelligence in Congress...it'll probably end up being overly complicated.

Either everyone qualifies, or no one does.

Everyone has been effected by the on-going stupidity of Wooflu shutdowns, so everyone should get the check.

But, that'll be, I'm fairly sure, argued that some may be more deserving of the check than others...

I can't help but wonder what interesting criteria will be set forth by the "leadership" in both houses...because we all know that doormat Biden...oops, I'm sorry, President Biden--must learn to use my outside voice when opining these days, I wouldn't want to by shut down as an extremist by all these oh, so wise SJW's.

I haven't received my $600 check but they gladly take my estimated taxes being paid quarterly, throughout all of this. Though it did take forever to get my $2000 check last year. So who knows I damn sure don't count on it.

Notice how Congress refuses to listen to anyone from the citizen crowd?

Seriously, maybe we should crash one of their sessions before recess.
