There are still laws, morals, ethics, etc. that govern behavior.

Of course there is a level of authoritarianism, that is what I have been saying all along. Do as we say, because the government orders it, doesn't sound like right=freedom.

I look at it this way...

This isn't about how you see the left/right situation in the US.

It is about the meaning of the left/right political spectrum and why fascists, and other conservative but authoritarian movements, fall on the right, in opposition to what you have been led to believe the right means.

Wrong... Fascists are SOCIALISTS... Socialism is not right-wing... They are anti-Capitalists... hitler controlled all businesses and CEOs in nazi Germany "for the common good..."

Hitler and the socialist dream
He declared that 'national socialism was based on Marx' Socialists have always disowned him. But a new book insists that he was, at heart, a left-winger

Half a century on, there is much to be said. Even thuggery can have its reasons, and the materials that have newly appeared, though they may not transform judgement, undoubtedly enrich and deepen it. Confidants of Hitler. such as the late Albert Speer, have published their reminiscences; his wartime table-talk is a book; early revelations like Hermann Rauschning's Hitler Speaks of 1939 have been validated by painstaking research, and the notes of dead Nazis like Otto Wagener have been edited, along with a full text of Goebbels's diary.

It is now clear beyond all reasonable doubt that Hitler and his associates believed they were socialists, and that others, including democratic socialists, thought so too. The title of National Socialism was not hypocritical. The evidence before 1945 was more private than public, which is perhaps significant in itself. In public Hitler was always anti-Marxist, and in an age in which the Soviet Union was the only socialist state on earth, and with anti-Bolshevism a large part of his popular appeal, he may have been understandably reluctant to speak openly of his sources. His megalomania, in any case, would have prevented him from calling himself anyone's disciple. That led to an odd and paradoxical alliance between modern historians and the mind of a dead dictator. Many recent analysts have fastidiously refused to study the mind of Hitler; and they accept, as unquestioningly as many Nazis did in the 1930s, the slogan "Crusade against Marxism" as a summary of his views. An age in which fascism has become a term of abuse is unlikely to analyse it profoundly.

His private conversations, however, though they do not overturn his reputation as an anti-Communist, qualify it heavily. Hermann Rauschning, for example, a Danzig Nazi who knew Hitler before and after his accession to power in 1933, tells how in private Hitler acknowledged his profound debt to the Marxian tradition. "I have learned a great deal from Marxism" he once remarked, "as I do not hesitate to admit". He was proud of a knowledge of Marxist texts acquired in his student days before the First World War and later in a Bavarian prison, in 1924, after the failure of the Munich putsch.

Hitler and the socialist dream

For crying out loud, Saikat Chakrabarti, the Chief of staff of AOC sees a NAZI/fascist collaborator, Bose, as an idol...
Bose, a Hindu FASCIST, worked with the nazi Germans...

Here is a photo of Chakrabarti with a t-shirt of his idol FASCIST Bose...

Here is a picture of Bose with hitler...

Bose was a fascist whom worked with the nazis...

You/the far left see Margaret Sanger, as an idol when she was a nazi whom published the writings of other eugenicists and nazis...

Margaret Sanger even published the works of not just other eugenicists, but of nazis as well like dr. Ernst Rudin, "the mastermind behind the Holocaust..."

In Margaret Sanger's April 1933 "Birth Control Review" she published one of the papers of dr. Ernst Rudin...

On Page 102 Birth Control Review

Ernst Rudin.

Ernst Rüdin (April 19, 1874 in St. Gallen – October 22, 1952) was a Swiss-born German psychiatrist, geneticist, eugenicist and Nazi. Rising to prominence under Emil Kraepelin and assuming his directorship at what is now called the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich. While he has been credited as a pioneer of psychiatric inheritance studies, he also argued for, designed, justified and funded the mass sterilization and clinical killing of adults and children.
...

Ernst Rüdin

Sanger and her friends, like Dr. Gamble, even forcibly sterilized thousands of black Americans...

Like this poor lady whom showed your idols wrong and got a college degree. But she was sterilized as a child after she was raped...

How more clear can that be as to whom are the real fascists?...

Your determination to portray the right as fascist is failed logic. It simply wont work.

From the beginning I have said, and still maintain, the left has moved further and further left over the years. The right, by nature of being the right, have stayed in basically the same place. What was extremist left years ago is now centrist because the extreme left has gone completely overboard. In no way shape or form does that make the right fascist. I have tried to give examples of the concept that simple change does not equate directly to liberal ideology because it seemed that was how you were equating fascism with the right. But that too is failed logic.

In short, you believe the right is fascist. You are entitled to your beliefs. I doubt you will find many who agree with you.

Oh please, Hitler would call himself a Christain or an Anti-Christian when ever it suited him. He said he likez Islam, but probably did or didnt know that Islam has Semitic roots that go back to the O.T.

Facism doesnt have to involve Socialism at all, and historically, is more or less used to described Imperial/Militarized Empires due to Imperialism not being a good enough description by removing any sort of democratic process (parliament/congress). The issue is, none of them wanted to admit.

Why would Churchill, claim that the future Facist are anti-facists, he aint f'in prophet or fortune teller?

Hitler was alot of thing, crazy one of them, but stupid? Who more the fool, the fool, or the ones that follow.

Hell, even Mohammed said or claims that the Jews originally claim to come from Islam, but faltered the course, much like Judaism views of the Caanites/Babyolians. And Hitler said he was fighting Socialist Jews, an Commies.

Ban, doxx, silence, attack, demonise, deplatform, ignore, marginalise.
Politicians encouraging violence against people based SOLELY on who they vote for. A terrorist media complicit in pushing falsehoods and government propaganda (MAGA hats are a symbol of hate, even when worn by TENS OF MILLIONS of extremely diverse people) Dictatorial leadership. Fraudulent election process and refusal to allow opposition to have any input at all.
Big tech celebrated and cheered as they wipe all opposing viewpoints from the public eye.

The left isn’t fascist. Yeah right.

Disgusting anti-humane group of people. Every single one.

“Think how WE think, or we’ll attack you”, is the mindset of every single one of the fascist followers.

“It’s ok to violently attack, silence, doxx, deplatform and subjugate those who disagree with us politically” is the mindset of every single one of the fascist followers

That isn't what I am doing.

This has no bearing on my point.

In short, you believe the right is fascist. You are entitled to your beliefs. I doubt you will find many who agree with you.

And, here we see the reason you are coming at this with a bias.

I never said the right, and by right I guess you mean the american right, is fascist.

I said fascism lies on the right side of the left/right political spectrum due to the conservative values they espouse because that is how that scale is set up. It doesn't mean everyone on the right is the same. There are libertarian rightists, authoritarian rightist and shades of gray in-between.

Some people, it seems, can't wrap their head around that because they have come to believe right=freedom, which isn't always the case. Simple as that.

Yet the policies the nazis implemented WERE ALL SOCIALIST and "FOR THE COMMON GOOD..."
Hitler demanded that all Germans put the collective before themselves. He didn't give them the choice, he forced Germans to "do what's best for the collective" and not what is best for the individual.

Without individual liberty the people in sum have no freedom and no rights... Socialism/fascism/communism aim at destroying the individual and forcing the people to accept "what is good for the majority.' This is a trait of all socialist branches...

NATIONALIZING healthcare, infrastructure, education, etc is SOCIALIST...
Banning income earned through renting a house, or a piece of land, banning all speculation like Wall Street, etc is SOCIALIST and the nazis under Hitler implemented it...

Implementing "land reform that would benefit the collective" is socialist, since farmers couldn't farm what they wanted to and what was more profitable. They had to farm what "the collective and nazi regime needed." Which is the same as nationalizing infrastructure. Meanwhile hitler/the nazis allowed many owners to keep their businesses they had to build, manufacture, process, what hitler and the nazis told them and was needed. Any business owner that didn't do this lost his business... This also happens in communist regimes like Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, etc...

The nazis/hitler even implemented a "commissar for truth", and they made it legal to stop any news sources reporting anything that was critical of national socialism or of what the fascists where doing in nazi Germany, or around the world... Which the left in the U.S. and the Biden/Obama/Harris administration did and are doing to this day alongside liberal giants who own social media...

You simply can't make up claims that go against what hitler and the nazis did...

Yea, they did have socialist in their name, and did use socialist policies, but that was all a ploy secure their position.

You are sadly mistaken to not think that Facism or the Nazis has nothing to do with conservative or right wing policies in the spectrum, due to them actually trying to establish a class based system.

Thing is, you are thinking of useless twits that will get free stuff, an wear Gucci, where as Hitler ideology is survival of the fittest or most hungry.

Hitler viewed Capitalism as inefficient due to a lack of structure, and the amount of time, resources, an money it would to collaborate. Stalin for the most part promised the world, and took away the currency for the most, an was only available to upper echelons.

Hitler had currency(Marks) and more then likely became about capital, although only available to those worthy to his cause.

What beat Germany wasn't an economical flaw, but a strategic one...he had two battle fronts going on, all the while, at the time, possessed far more technology then ether capitalist or commie.

They even had better technology then the states at the time, where as the states only amassed the atom, Nazis made everything else, even the idea of drones, maybe even computers.

German science is ze best in ze WORLD!!!( no offense)
