While I appreciate the irony, you don't fight censorship with more censorship.

The hell you don’t.

I can't oppose Twitter/Facebook for their censorship and be for an ISP for their censorship.

That would be hypocrisy and make me a *shudder* democrat.

I will always try to stay consistant and always be for more freedoms rather than less.

I hate facebook and Twitter censorship but I can’t argue against it that strongly because I also feel like the baker doesn’t have to bake the gay cake.

Granted the baker was not getting government subsidies either so...

I’m wondering if this whole thing will bring about another Ma Bell monopoly break up? They do seem to hold a monopoly (each in their own right) and that’s one of the reasons it rubs me the wrong way.

They only block them if the customer requests. No censorship here, they aren’t preventing anyone that wants to use Facebook or Twitter from going to their site using their service.

An eye for an eye is why we can't have nice things.

No, you're right. Only the left should have the right to poke out eyes. It's not fair when the right does it.

I like it. They're making a statement and even a small ISP typically has a good amount of traffic. Even if it is temporary, the big guys could likely buy them out in a heartbeat.

Not with democrats in control and they favor the ideology of the state.

Eye for an eye is one of the oldest debt solutions in human societies. The political extremes are people who feel they are owed a debt of some sort.

Awwwe too bad they walked it backed.

Watching the legal battle and then the subsequent vaporization of that company would have been entertaining.

It "was" their choice. They requested to have the sites blocked.

It may be out of anger, but they may now be aware of what kind of strong impact it was having on their lives and psyche.

Then tell Big Tech to walk off. They got everyone purged to Parler. That should be enough.

Not quite yet. The only pony I see has a dog face.

I'm sure there are thousands of folks who would. Would that be considered a violent riot though?

Probably an attempted violent siege. I bet google headquarters would be better prepared than the Capital was.
