Gee, I was kind of hoping it would be better. Music kept playing but after fifteen second mark, picture locked up, then jumped to another still image, then again jumped to another all the way along. So, I only got a little bit of video then just still images like poses.

Is that the way it is supposed to be, built in flaw to make it look like she is doing the dance all along but the technology is screwing up? I couldn't get it to work, but then what can you expect for a century old video.

That takes some good genes and lots of physical work over the years.

We have an old gal in my step class who was in her 80s, but this lady is topping her.

I saw that vid just last night on facebook. Bittersweet.
It seems that people with dementia really react to music from their time. She remembered her dancing. Beautiful!

The beauty and the art speak for themselves.

Anything I could say just seems crass in comparison. Bravo!

Yes, a lot of self discipline is involved and good genes help.

Quite fascinating really my daughter has looked after two dementia patients

in the last few years. And you see them loosing themselves over time but

somethings are hung on to when other things go completely.

I hope their family members still visit them. My best frend's Mom had dementia and my friend was an absolute Angel with her. Your Daughter is an Earth Angel in helping these people.

One was her neighbour whose husband died before she got dementia and my

daughter kept an eye on her for 10 years the dementia only came on in the

last three years. The other was her sister who used to visit and she noticed

her deterioration and forgetfulness and took her to the doctors, and clinic

after she was diagnosed took on responsibility for her care. She is in a home

now and with corvid no visiting.

I think she was amazing. I don't know why they embellished her age.

This was done two years ago and she was born in 1940. She really is an amazing woman.

Can confirm. When my grandmother had dementia she kept referring to my grandfather as if they were both still 21 with things such as 'Bobs coming home from the Navy on Sunday' and thought my current day grandfather was a stranger.

Awful disease

I'll pray for her. Just found out that my Great Niece has covid. She is 20, so I'm hoping she will not have a really bad time of it.

What a lovely video! Thank you!
Says she is 77 in the vid and it was uploaded in 2017. I agree that in the first video they should have given her correct age. Still, it's quite old to still be doing ballet. What an inspiration!

I still can't get my computer to load that video correctly. I have to find out what is wrong. I have had this problem before and have never figured out why it occurs. Maybe I will try early in the morning, I suppose that a lot of people are on the internet at night around here and we have AT&T internet over the phone lines, maybe it is clogged up.

Yes it is an awful disease. The only thing I can say about it is that it is tragic

for the families, but the patient is happy (in their second childhood) they do

not realise, so from that angle.
