Report: NFL legend Joe Montana thwarts kidnapping of grandchild

(MALIBU, Calif.) Hall of Fame NFL quarterback Joe Montana reportedly stopped an intruder from kidnapping one of his grandchildren Saturday, according to a TMZ Sports report.

This is very concerning considering the woman just enters their home and tries to grab the child. Thank god they did not take the child with them.

I'm glad the intruder/attempted kidnapper was stopped and the baby unharmed, but I'm disappointed the intruder wasn't stopped in a different manner.

I get that reasonable reality couldn't make it football related i.e., Joe throws a football, hitting her in the head or solar plexus, knocking her out cold or temporarily stopping her heart, while his wife dives and catches the baby (and then the football.)

But rather than wrestling the baby away, they shoukd have gone face to face and given the intruder a vicious headbutt, whereupon she would release the baby into their hands before dropping to the floor, nose smashed.

That's how I like to imagine I woukd end a close-quarters situation like this. Why? Because headbutts are cool! Remember that next time some fool is shouting all up in your grill. Pretend you're about to shout back and then put that forehead to it intended use!!
