Timelaps Sailing from Rotterdam to Amsterdam over the old waterways

In 2013 a special transport over water left from Rotterdam to Amsterdam. A timelapse camera was installed at 30 mtrs high. The resulting film gives a unique and stunning view of the old Dutch waterways, in 4K.

Not mine, but i really enjoyed it.

A little fun fact in the description in Dutch:

The film was made for a company, who forbid the making public of the footage in 2013. After that it was forgotten.. en now found and published last week. 2013 and 4K , not bad.

Being ATS, I was expecting some story about travelling from Rotterdam and Amsterdam and experiencing some kind of paranormal lapse in time. While somewhat disappointing it's not some kind of strange mystery, this is still pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.

What is the distance, please? And can anyone still travel that route?

Maybe 50 miles or 70 km? There are tourist trips that do those waterway excursions daily.

The distance as the crow flies is about 60km , but as this is over water AND they had to take a longer route due to the heigt of the tow structure, my guess would be around 125 km.

And yes, you can still go that route, if you have a boat.
