I think it depends on the individual. I've met solid Christians of all stripes who's faith has been life changing. They lead by example.

God winks at our sin when were babes in Christ drinking on the milk of the word. Paul speaks of the fact that God forgives our sin, because of that should sin abound? No God forbid, we should go on in God process of sanctification to where we can handle the meat of the word. John makes the comment john 1:6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. The bible condemns those who go on sinning the truth is not in them. We have the ability to say no to sin, and when we do stumble and confess our failing to Jesus (no need for a priest) the mediator between us and the Father our sins are forgiven.

I tend to disagree because “many will say to me on that day, “Lord Lord didnt we”...
So, unless a person is showing the Fruit of the Spirit, actively living as Christ, showing and living love, then ?
I think most larger churches these days have no value outside of personal motivation speakers, and many who call themselves Christian show no love outside of acting what suits them

And I also don’t believe in the “do nothing doctrine”. Stop, think weigh up because becoming a Christian is hard work, can be lonely and must be life changing. There is a lot of work and pain ahead, it costs much, everything must become nothing and love must endure, even those you hate
