The Midnight Gospel

If you are a fan of Rick and Morty, with it's surreal characters and bizarre worlds, you might just love The Midnight Gospel. Comedian and podcaster Duncan Trussell is the man behind this and it is pretty funny and interesting. I have only watched the first 2 episodes so far and it is kind of like podcast conversation illustrated. The themes are cosmic and esoteric and viewing experience could be considered a basic hallucinogen trip. The show is currently the 2nd top most viewed show on Netflix.

SPOILER - I enjoyed the dialogue of the first episode regarding drug use in general, good and/or bad, it quaintly quantifies the full spectrum in 20 minutes. So, while entertaining in it's overall animated specter, it is also informative and philosophical.

Anyway, I think some may appreciate it to some degree and it is certainly something unique to watch in the mix of current entertainment.
