That is not true. More testing means less spreading which means less deaths.

Actually, at this stage in the game, more testing will mean you will see a spike in cases because it would reveal the true scope of the issue. Right now, there are a lot of cases no one knows about.

It's just like antibody testing, where available, has turned up a lot of people who actually had it. Far more than the testing revealed showing that the disease had spread out wider and through more of the populace than had actually been assumed to be the case through official figures.

It definitely means higher numbers on the numerator side of the CFR equation.

From your viewpoint, it only equates to 'less spreading/deaths' if you put every single person who tests positive in jail.

Apparently you are one of those in favor of destroying the economy in favor of a slightly lower casualty rate (maybe - we don't even know that is for certain).

But what about influenza? Do we test each and every person in the nation for influenza?

Do you have the lawful authority to require - at gunpoint - that each and every Citizen be tested for this, or anything else for that matter?

No. You do not.

Doesn't it make more logical sense to help people to have truly vitally healthy immune systems, such that 99.9% are pretty much immune or will at least survive pretty much anything that comes their way?

If all of a sudden, you go from a 3 year average of say 1000 deaths per day from all causes in your state or nation to 2000 deaths per day this year and they are counting say 300 as Covid, what the hell do you think the other additional 700 deaths per day are? Where are they coming from?
