“I forgive you.” Was all that the alien was able to say as he clutched his middle where the fatal shotgun blast had hit him. His body and face now covered in blood and one wing hung useless as it was hit with the previous shot. Moments later, he fell dead near his ship where he had landed it close to the church. His ship lifted off on autopilot.

The next day the ship teleported his lifeless body back aboard for renewal. The surveillance cameras at the government lab just showed a bright flash of light before burning out. The ship had done all this before, several times.

Even though this was a Baptist church, the Vatican used its power to suppress the news of the horned cloven being appearing there.

The alien was renewed in body but was very sad that he was not able to give humanity his message of peace and love. He had returned to Earth after 2000 years.

He can't be Jesus because there was no letter J 2000 years ago. He did visit then and try to make things better but was nailed to a post that time.
