Most Stupid People

Here's one.
A stupid person is a person who lets their emotions be controlled by the media. Particularly the mainstream news.
That's just plain ignorant.

Your first line is wrong.

The average IQ in America is 98.

Most people here are actually stupid.

A smart person understands that because you have to spend most of your day interacting with stupid people.

I have found that someone's IQ has very little to do with whether or not he/she is actually smart.
My oldest spawn has an IQ of 159, very "book smart" but has absolutely no common sense. Second spawn has an IQ of 138, not quite as "book smart" but has more common sense in her pinky finger than her older sister has in her whole body. The younger is definitely the smarter of the two.

I second this. Common sense is much more useful in the long run than being able to absorb academic information. I've met people just like your oldest. Can learn just about anything, high IQ, but can't put it to use because of a lack of common sense.

Having both types of intelligence is a plus, but one is much less common than the other. Especially apparent in today's world.
