So much hubris and ignorance in these half witted replies that it’s no wonder they can’t contain the spread.

This is an original analysis and commentary on dynamic reality.

Not “facts” from some ideological rigid dogma.

With the suggestion, we think for ourselves

If you need a link for that then God help you

That’s the point, there are no experts on this virus, yet.

This will work if we stick to it but not without consequences. A Hobson’s choice

And anyway, if not these experts then who, politicians?

Definitely not politicians...that's why I am so skeptical about the experts advising the politicians. They seemed to have set the stage for the government to use 'draconian measures.'

It's very hard to know who to put confidence in, right now. I've been reading a lot of commentary from experts not featured on the news and advising government.

And, still...I take it all with a grain of salt.

But it's all over the planet, governments are doing this including China and Italy who were much more severe than over here.

Who are they going to consult if not the only experts we have?

As was mentioned already, just because some doctors are "idiots" doesn't mean all of them are.

If you absolutely must point a finger, do so at the greedy pharmaceutical companies. Or better yet, those who sell "miracle cures". We're on ATS here. Our usual targets are profit hunting, property stealing, world polluting, rights infringing corporations. Leave those who actually try to save lives out of this.

I'm presuming most governments are trying their best. That means making hard choices based on what data they have, as well as utilizing best guesses. Lots of issues to tackle here.
