Birds of Prey - Harley loves Bernie

I am a HUGE comic book fan and make a point to catch every comic book based movie released. However, like most people, I skipped this movie. They took the Birds of Prey from the comic books, stuck Harley Quinn on the team just because, and marketed the movie a a Harley Quinn movie. Aside from Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, the casting and character design for the other characters I saw in the trailer looked pretty awful. I will end up checking it out, but will wait until there's a DVD quality copy on The Pirate Bay.

And regarding the "controversy" that Harley Quinn is a Bernie Sanders supporter... I do not see what the problem is. It makes perfect sense that she supports Sanders. Harley Quinn is EXTREMELY mentally ill. Just like her on again-off again boyfriend, Joker.

And we all know you have to be mentally ill to think socialism is a good thing.

Just a bunch of characters nobody has heard of and unlike guardians of the Galaxy the movie is probably bad.

I agree most people never heard of most of the characters.. but anyone who has read DC Comics over the last 10 years knows these characters very well.

And from what I'm hearing, aside from Harley Quinn, this movie pisses all over those other characters.

I saw it. It was no where near as bad as it's being exaggerated out to be. Sure it has a few cringy moments, but what movie doesn't. As for Harley liking Bernie, she's supposed to be crazy, so not really an endorsement, so calm the eff down.

My biggest complaint comes from long before this movie. I don't like the way the Joker and Harley turned into some kind of super villainous street trash thugs. That started long before the movies though. I miss the Joker and Harley from the cartoon, back when they were just nuts, without the trashyness. Was more playful, crazy, psychotic, rather than a super version of your trashy coked out next door neighbor.

Oh and I guess spoiler:
Harley is not, never has been, and even in the movie, does not join the Birds of Prey. What she does do is, like in the comics, work with them on occasion.

Go see it, it was fun

She is right about the bacon egg snd cheese sandwich

I wont give them my money because they made black canary....well let's just say politically correct.

General audiences don't seem to like them (Unless it's Wonder Woman, Aquaman, or Shazam)

Personally I liked most of the DC movies. Only one I didn't like much was Suicide Squad.

I'm still skipping this one until I can get a good copy on The Pirate Bay
