Right now we're talking about policies that disproportionately affect black Americans who don't have enough money for anything, like cash bail.

But watch how quickly we stop worrying about this when we get to climate portion of our debate and start crowing about making gas and energy prices skyrocket.

His country is not one I want to live in.

Just reading your play by play of these clowns is making me queasy.
If I was actually watching them, I would be violently ill.

Right now it's like the only people in this country who are poor are black or brown. No white person ever is homeless or dirt poor.

Warren is asked about why she thinks she's better than Bloomberg, and with Steyer standing on stage, she says no one should be able to buy their way.

That is why we all as (parents/grandparents/ancestors) immigrated here in the first place. In order to flee/escape the perfect Utopian worlds we thrived within in order to experience terrible suffering under FRESH (not yet experienced) tyranny, starvation, racism and religious persecution. Bernie IS relevant and totally in touch with reality.

It’s a very desperate ploy by them to try to keep the people of color on their side.
They know Trump is winning a lot them over.

Bernie wants the government to fund all elections meaning the government controls political speech.

You must have learned about it through Howard Zinn.

Admirable historian.

But, we still live in the same country. And we experience difference things, and listen to different things, all which shape our world view.

Not calling you wrong because you live in the midwest, since I live in the deep south.

Bernie mad that the new Mexico trade agreement says nothing about climate change.

Someone who decided to write history through the worst possible perspective out there. If you want to read him, he needs to be balanced out with someone who is at least as positive on the other side of the ledger.

Personally, the idea of what racism actually is has been so skewed by academics as to become nearly meaningless in most real ways. When you start getting into the realm where things attributed to racism can just as easily be explained by other factors that also cause problems for pretty much everyone who experiences them but they do require a group to own some personal responsibility for some things, then racism might not be the answer.
