Official DOD Photograph Collection Archived at Black Vault

The imagery here was published by the Department of Defense on CD-ROM back in 2004 by the Defense Visual Information, now called Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS). I archived the contents of their collection below.

Operation Iraqi Freedom, DOD Official Photograph Collection, January 2004 – July 2004

The collection doesn't have any captions and the order of the images seems to be random. I have only scanned through the images. The subject matter of the images varies.

The images are public domain. But you should not use any with recognizable individuals in them without their permission.

I have posted a few below. I will download the collection and try to post more after going thru them all. If you find any interesting images in the collection, post them if you can.
