What the?

Gordi I swear I hit you up! Looking back at my post obviously not. Jeeze, embarrassed.

I really should not be posting here lol. When I hit "reply" I think that was the last possible physical move I could have made before crashing out.

I got a gift for my birthday of a bottle of The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 year scotch. I unfortunately enjoy scotch way too much. I said I'd try it last night - one turned into two, two into three etc.

Inevitably that leads to trying to make a music video at midnight. Results are insanely bad constantly.

Job kicks in Monday. Hopefully y'all won't be subjected to more that an occasional Friday or Sat night of this.

I hope all is well on your side of the pond and make today a great one!

Ah! Forgot to add: Thanks Night Star for the compliments! I have an affinity for strange 50's 60's 70's movies.

Often times there are fantastic go-go girl scenes! Easy to use with music obviously and easy on the eyes!

Also after admitting that I made a video with lego people and various ufo clips for a woman I went on a date with should give you a clear idea of my current relationship status. Not that anyone is asking.

I have really wanted to say I like your guitar playing. I love all kinds of people and music and dance , but I play nothing , can't sing , and the only dancing I have ever done much of is when I accidentally stepped on a yellow jackets nest.

I have not been to your you tube channel yet , but I have seen you play guitar. I was thinking maybe "The Drummer" was a professional title like Machine Gun Kelly , Jimmy the Knuckles , or Sammy the Jigsaw.

Most wont understand this but I know you will. Some of my Mothers people left out from the Firth of Forth in 1761 or 1765 to immigrate to the colonies. There were not states then. On the way a child was born and they named him William America Smith. I don't know but they might have been running.

I met a man from Scotland here one day and we had a drink and talk and I found we came from the same clan. He said you might want to be careful who you say what clan you belong to. So , I have been worried because I don't want my head "drummed " in.

It has been unseasonably cold for this time of year here, but now warming up and lovely.

Hahaha! Love the memes!
How are Chrissie and the boys? Is the virus thingy bad where you are? Are the parks open? Will Chrissie be able to do her nature crafts with the kids? Are the boys able to play soccer?

It's been so amazing to see the boys growing up through the years. Are any of your Sons as tall as you yet? Any first girlfriends?

I mostly play acoustic instruments but flirt with electronic instruments from time to time. I have a workstation keyboard that I can do lots with, and a couple arturia pieces. I've always thought about picking up a beat step but never felt I quite understood exactly what it does in a system to drop the dough. What does it do, really?

Hey DOE! I am so sorry for the delay on this question!

Basically the beat step pro is a sequencer. It has 2 sequencers for instruments, one for drums.

There are a lot of cool things you can do with it, it is fairly intuitive and I am still in the learning while playing with it mode.

You can connect synth, midi keys, or you can use it as your midi controller.

There are a lot of sequencers out there and the beat step isn't cheap but it is really fun to mess with.

Suddenly you realize its an hour later and you have been creating sweet beats, loops sounds etc.

I hope that helps a little and again, my bad on the delayed response!

Hey Colorado Jens ,
I am a diver for real or used to be haven't in probably over a decade. I was certified but did a refresher course and dove on some reefs and a wreck called the "Ancient Mariner". It was just an old WW11 hospital ship the government sunk to try and create a reef. I never swam with sharks that I saw and I am sure if I would have known when I was diving out off of Sunset beach NC off a twin hold kayak by myself right at little river inlet I would have never gone.

Life is funny , years later I met a man called captain Bruce who I did some shirts for that had a big oyster bash party. All kinds of food and hard drinks and on tap. I finally talked to him a bit and he told me I was stupid to dive there. All the fishing boats coming in would dump stuff off as they were heading in to a town called Calabash NC. He said it was full of big tiger sharks. I had not dove in a few years at that time and I puckered , lol. I always Loved your hugs avatar. Scared me and made me laugh at the same time.

I am jealous, diving is on my bucket list. I'd love to check out a sunken WW2 ship that would be amazing!

I realize sharks are not always fun friends but most attacks are accidents so to speak and a lot of them are when folks do things they shouldn't - like dive where the boats dump their scraps and waste lol!

Thanks for the words on my "avatar" . I always liked the smile with the 4 inch teeth coming out for some reason.

Just noticed, we both first registered on ATS the same month of the same year! Almost twelve years ago. Interesting.
