Haven’t Trump supporters been crying for nearly three years about the repercussions of the Steele Dossier?
If you’re interested, start there.

I always thought the story originated as one of Trump's own bar jokes. He strikes me as the kind of person who would say to his buddies "this is what I did", meaning "this is what I should have done". It doesn't make all that much sense even as a joke, because there would be no point in doing it after the other person had slept there. "Before" would make more sense. Perhaps the clumsiness of the humour also marks it as a Trump joke. Taking a joke as a literal confession would be a very left-wing thing to do.

Some just worried about it more than others.
That's what I thought...but I also wonder where Trump did spend that Moscow night, especially since he denied he was there at the time in question.........when he was in fact in Moscow.
But, never mind the wee wees, Putin did give aid to Trump, that's without question, and that was the big question overall.
On October 21, 2016, NSD submitted the Carter Page FISA application to the FISC, asserting that there was probable cause to believe that Page was an agent of the Russian government.
The application relied on, among other things:
• The information provided by the FFG about its interaction with Papadopoulos;
• Information from the FBI's previously opened counterintelligence investigation relating to Page arising from his contacts with Russian intelligence officers;
• Information from Steele's reports that pertained specifically to Carter Page; and
• Information from a meeting between Page and an FBI CHS that was consensually monitored by Crossfire Hurricane investigators

Um, open question. . . . .
Why do we even have a FISA court?
Isn't that like, ya' know, police state bullpoop?
So we have a legit way of spying on our own citizens.
Draconian as #.
