Happy International Men's Day!!!

I generally never celebrate anything that I didn't have any control over, like my ethnicity, my cultural heritage, my sex, or my shoe size. I prefer to celebrate things that I've accomplished, not old stereotypes.

I read on breitbart that it is a tradition in America to shoot yourself in the leg on Men's Day. Is that true? Pretty cool! I light a fart on myself, that's my contribution to Men's Day.

I can't tell my own dad... but I can tell all the other men in my life. And I think my dad would appreciate that, so in a way, it's an opportunity to honor my own dad again.

I am not sure you were joking though ...

I was going to talk about how it's exclusionary to celebrate a person not everyone has in there lives as some of us don't have men in our lives ... like lesbians. And celebrating men may feel hostile to transgenders who used to be men.

I hope my dad thinks so. I can't think of a better way to honor and thank him.

I celebrate the man in my life. He's going to take care of me in the days and weeks ahead when I can't take care of myself very well. He deserves all the credit for being a great husband and wonderful father. I couldn't do it without him and wouldn't want to do it without him even if I could. He makes it worthwhile.

Without men, the world would be a much darker place.

Kinda like the way Hollywood constantly celebrates themselves? Um... yeah... no...

This is for the men who are so busy just doing what they do and being the men they are that they don't even think about celebrating themselves
