Quentin Tarantino’s theatrical cut of “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is the only cut he wants in theaters around the world. Variety has confirmed the director will not be recutting his ninth feature film in order to allow it to have a release in Chinese theaters.
News broke earlier today China was blocking the October 25 theatrical release of “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” for unspecified reasons.

I wonder if it is because of the Bruce Lee scene that Lee’s daughter got pissed about. She claimed it misrepresented him.

My first thought was finally a liberal with spine .
Then I got to thinking that besides Taratino and Trumps dust up about Django Unchained.
I haven’t heard a word out of Taratino negative on trump .

All of his other movies, including Inglourious Basterds, Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill franchise, have been banned by censors, but his acclaimed new slave western will open across the nation on 11 April (13). The film has already become Tarantino's most successful worldwide, raking in over £250 million since its release in December (12).
“I knew enough to do more than I did,” he said, citing several episodes involving prominent actresses. “There was more to it than just the normal rumors, the normal gossip. It wasn’t secondhand. I knew he did a couple of these things.”
“I wish I had taken responsibility for what I heard,” he added. “If I had done the work I should have done then, I would have had to not work with him.”
