Translation Help, German I Think

My mom died recently and there were a lot of pictures I had never seen. Going through these things I found a postcard which, I believe, is in German. But I'm not sure. My ancestry is German/Norwegian. But, I have this postcard I would really like to know what it says...

Anyway, it's personal. So, please, if you can translate and it's not a big deal just go ahead and post but if it is personal...please private message it.

I think its not german, cant find a german word in it but its hard to read so maybe im wrong. Norwegian sounds more plausible.

That makes me crazy. Please understand, you are asking me to remember anyone now from my family...they are to write about...what?

That really will make me nuts. Is that what it says?

The proper names I know. The A.W. and the Oskar Sjirley...but that tidbit message...

What is it really? I expect mundane...but, now I'm even more curious because it's 1910 and any little message must be worth something...

Damn. Yes, thank you. I thought Munich would be the go-to. There is Russian in my family...but the German and Norwegian are the "culprits" here, for sure.

I am from Germany, I do not think it is German. There could be some German words in it but I think moebius has it right. I wish you success in your quest

You have to remember that the context of every language is different. So despite s direct translation word to word being:

can you remember
anyone now,
we are all going to
write soon ...

With the nuance of language, it's probably closer to saying...

Have you forgotten us yet? We will all write soon.

So probably not German...thanks all for that.

If I'm honest it sounds like anyone in my family - sarcastic and vague. lol.

This translation fits. There is a picture of family members on front - who wound up here later - and this translation just "fits". Again...thanks all so much! This means a lot to me, probably not so interesting to everyone else

I have to say! Underneath all the politicizing of ATS you guys are great.

This may seem a small thing to a Norwegian (not German) speaker. But it solidified a lot for me.

My mom, in whose belongings i found this postcard, had a German dad and Russian mom. My dad was full on Norwegian which this postcard was written in, apparently.

I don't expect anyone here to be excited by this but it's a great discovery for me!
