Harlan Ellison's martian joke :)

Love this one. Harlan Ellison on Tom Snyder takes me back. I miss both of them.

Ellison wrote some cool stuff, going way back to TV's 'Outer Limits' in the 1960s. I remember a story of his in a sci-fi journal. It was titled "Djinn, No Chaser". It was based on the genie in the lamp tale. (Probably late 70s.)

Snyder's show was classic. The only talk show that all the great punk bands would appear on. The Pistols, Ramones, Clash...


One of my favorite quotes is from Harlan, which he spoke while debating a know-it-all who obviously hadnt researched the subject:
You are not entitled to your opinion, you are entitled to your informed opinion. If you are not informed on the subject, then your opinion counts for nothing.
