Well that's why they were supposed to verify the information from multiple sources - which they did not do.

Basically their defense will then be either "we were inept at doing our jobs" or "we know how to do our jobs but didn't properly do our jobs when performing probably the most serious investigation of our careers".

At the highest levels of their profession, that's a bad look. And frankly, not credible.

Well... they may be DIA, but they’re definitely quack pot mad scientists, too. Just look up Russel Taarg & Hal Puthoff. One of the last things you’ll read about them is that they’re also high level OT $cientologists That have been in since the 1970s.

In other words, “bish, they so cray.”

I’m going to have to disagree with you there. Puthoff is the real deal. Just follow his professional career. He has had his hands in this type of thing for 40 years now. For a while in the 80s and 90s, pretty much anybody who was anyone on the West Coast was involved with Scientology. I’m not going to pretend to know people’s motivations for joining the group. I’m sure they were lied to and misled just as we have been. His current work with TTSA is very interesting as well. Say what you will, but the US government doesn’t just commission the creation of papers like these for no reason.

I agree with you. Where the government's involvement with UFO sightings has been documented, the vast bulk of their involvement has been less than impressive. The government has their motives for what they do, but documenting and explaining the phenomena to the public is not among those motives.

Yep, from the linked article, there were 3 people there.
One newspaper reporter and her photographer from the Philadelphia Inquirer, and a cameraman from 6ABC.

I usually try and bring good news to the board, but this morning what I have to share pissed me off.

We heard about how the State Department completed an investigation into the email debacle. They concluded that something like 83 people committed something like 600 security violations. Well, they also determined that there was "no systemic abuse" by any of these people. Ugh.

While there were some instances of classified information being inappropriately introduced into an unclassified system in furtherance of expedience, by and large, the individuals interviewed were aware of security policies and did their best to implement them in their operations,” the report said. 

“Instances of classified information being deliberately transmitted via unclassified email were the rare exception and resulted in adjudicated security violations. There was no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.”

This makes me very angry. They're obviously full of ish and are covering for these a-holes.

On another note, I wouldn't be surprised if 8Kun came back up today. Just as how people try to drop news they want buried on a Friday, I would think that news you really want to stick should be dropped on a Sunday or a Monday. Well, last I heard the IG report had been pushed back to tomorrow. Sometime today or tonight would make an excellent time for Q to return.

ETA: Since when does the law require abuse to be "systemic" in order to be enforced? And what about the 33,000 emails that were destroyed? I really wish we could see some of these people be held accountable for their transgressions. Just once.
