If we assume the sum of the entire universe is the brain/body of a superior entity
& the function of consciousness is to collect information,
which gets encoded into matter one form or another
& if we assume it is true the universe is always expanding, entropy increases
wouldn't it make much more sense to assume the universe is evolving into an all-knowing consciousness
rather than that's a given from point zero in spacetime?
It's only logical,
right?
I mean if we assume this superior consciousness is alive it has to develop someway. No living thing is stagnant, that contradicts the very definition
of "alive".
And there are only two ways it can go: decay or flourish.
