Decay or Flourish

If we assume the sum of the entire universe is the brain/body of a superior entity
& the function of consciousness is to collect information,
which gets encoded into matter one form or another
& if we assume it is true the universe is always expanding, entropy increases
wouldn't it make much more sense to assume the universe is evolving into an all-knowing consciousness
rather than that's a given from point zero in spacetime?

It's only logical,
right?

I mean if we assume this superior consciousness is alive it has to develop someway. No living thing is stagnant, that contradicts the very definition of "alive".
And there are only two ways it can go: decay or flourish.

Would it be overly assumptuous, to assume, that this is a thought exercise, about the assumptions one might make, about this assumed universe ?

Am glad you took the little teasing well.

Honestly: it's a difficult exercise for me.
Am sorry to say, am having a tough time to configure the whole exercise into my mental gymnasium.

Perhaps after a few other viewpoints, another angle will appear, that simplifies it for me.

All I want to know is what is the IT or Universal mind that decides something is being observed in double slit type experiments in quantum mechanics ? How does IT know IT is being observed???? Freaky stuff. It's like there's some kind of spiritual choice monster existing in our dimension but also existing in some higher dimension. Ooooo, gives me chills down my spine!!!
