Let me see if I can guess his political affiliation. He holds a position of power that should be held by someone with reasonable intelligence but his actions exhibit someone with an IQ of a rock, ummmm........is he a Democrat?

Shout out to everyone who ignored my poorly spelled title.
Been around ATS for a while but never post threads.
Thankful there's an edit feature that works on titles!

Well, there is that.

Dead through, that may also be considered to be the ultimate embarrassment.

Not that you would no much about it, being dead.

A police officer killed in the line of duty is sad.

Then again so are politics.

If i was a Police who lost my firearm and then got shot with the same weapon i would be embarrassed.

Sad or otherwise.

In this case you would be dead. Politics or no.
Using a dead officer to further politics is disgusting.

He runs close with Sheila Jackson Lee... You remember her...

Do devastating hurricanes need help from affirmative action? A member of Congress apparently thinks so, and is demanding the storms be given names that sound “black.” The congressional newspaper the Hill reported this week that Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, feels that the current names are too “lily white,” and is seeking to have better representation for names reflecting African-Americans.
"All racial groups should be represented,” Lee said, according to the Hill. She hoped federal weather officials “would try to be inclusive of African-American names.” A sampling of popular names that could be used include Keisha, Jamal and Deshawn, according to the paper.

I don’t think it matters what his political affiliation is at this point, his stupidity is already out in the open for even mentioning something like that.

This is the same precinct that killed a couple with a no knock warrant and it was found that they falsified the evidence to get the warrant. Then they found that the police fired through the house walls to kill the woman and later shoot into the house long after the couple was dead.

New deadly raid evidence sheds doubt on HPD investigation

Former HPD officer charged with murder in botched raid at Harding Street house

This reminds of the retired cop across the street living off a huge pension. He's a real right winger against gay rights until his daughter became a lesbian. Now he's singing a different tune. WTF!!!!

This guy is a real piece of work. He's vehemently against all forms of socialism. He doesn't think his pension is socialism. He claims he "earned" it. I was claiming it was a "participation award" given to people just for showing up to work. It's funny how the people who are the most outspoken against socialism turn out to be the very ones who benefit from it the most!!

stolen you mean?
who "loses" a gun and does not report it? most law abiding citizens would, no?

I had the sage ripped out of the wall while i was coincidentally at the range one day so most of firearms were with me. They did take the one that was there all the extra mags and a bunch of ammo. I don’t call the police for any reason at all. Ever. This time I did because the serial number was attached to my name and if it was used in a crime, I’m the first person getting looked at for it. Legal gun owners always report their stolen items.
