And crashed. Flight tracking shows a speed of around 270 mph (though that's ground speed) at the time of the accident.

Hopefully they are hardwired with an unhackable machine language and can withstand EMP/EMF from various sources.

Safety should be priority number one with what is already in the skies vs. what the future plans to put in them... unfortunately the stupid Hindenburg took the safest mode of air travel out of our hands but it isn't like we couldn't modernize the dirigible with modern meta materials and power... also inflating and deflating that's what they used to do but is such a thing necessary? If human flight went to a modern dirigible and commercial flight went automated drone? Cool.

Using humans and other forms of life as beta "guinea pigs" with insurance payouts in the form of settlement in case of accident should with our technological advances be 404. What gets termed Ai can research and cross reference thousands of times faster find cause and effect calculate outcomes even down to specific genomes and coelated way faster than all single researchers ever could and they aren't biased in their findings of the truth of the matter or subject.

On the brightside it gives humans a pass for past research foibles related to the human condition; however any humans skewing the results of what Ai tosses up for any socio-politico-economic reasonings is obviously on them... even the perpetuation of past misinformation that has and continues to lead to poor education... definitely something we need to safeguard against and it is very likely that such a thing of skewing has occurred already; meaning it is very very important to catch that disease and prevent skewing as soon as humanly possible hold those accountable and work to prevent it moving on in the future... of such assistance to humans it is one of the most valuable contributions to society that any society we have ever had could know... applause to all involved in making that assistance possible.

Commuter should be by train that helps move large amounts of people from A to B between large cities and states such a thing would unclog them to maximize commerce and production as well as free up A lot of personal assets of workers where it isn't vehicle payments insurance payments fuel payments etc. the days of commute and rush hour traffic would be numbered also the technological advances more earth friendly to the various spheres of naturally occurring process gases that keep this planet habitable.

Moving beyond the wars of ideals such a thing as a future ideal can arise... as paradoxical as that may seem that's the only way the inhabitants of earth can actually reach an ideal for existence... basically making it happen instead of arguing about it.
