If you mean why does everyone focus on Area 51 and not other places where cool things happen. Probably because that is the most well known base in public view. If I had to guess there are probably a multitude of other bases that have strange and interesting things being worked on. Probably a lot of military installations that have elevators and aircraft that go deep subsurface. Also some stuff is probably hidden in plain sight. I think that if you are interested in learning about and working on these things, maybe apply to the various job openings some places have and go from there.
