Portrait Drawing with a Compass

Well I suck at drawing but now I know, I suck even more.

This guy drew a portrait with a compass, going in a circle, my brain is still trying to understand :p

Crazy stuff!
Also crazy I learned the english word for "Zirkel" is compass, you might find it crazy the german word for the thing to draw circles with is Zirkel...(sounds like circle with heavy german accent)

To be "that" person. They are actually called a pair of compasses, a compass is the thing that points north!!
When I was at school I had a teacher in my technical drawing class that would throw a fit if the wrong word was used saying things like "are we going hiking or map reading?"
The picture is pretty cool.

Drawing is easy, seeing is hard. The best realistic artists are either born with the ability to see or learn how through practice. Once you learn to see, the world looks different! I was fortunate to have some good teachers, my mom was an exceptional (and moderately famous here in Seattle) artist, and I had some amazing professors in college.
