You think that Maduro's regime is democracy in action? Please take off your rose tinted glasses, too.

There we are, the true spirit of the US idea of democracy in action

Didn't those people actually vote?
I think they did. I think the national assembly recognized the peoples vote.
Is that not the "true spirit of the US idea of democracy in action"?

Have we sent troops to Venezuala?
Didn't think so.

Like I posted
You dont like it
Get a bigger stick

Troops are the third phase when the US wants to install a puppet dictator, the first two involve the CIA and businessmen, learn how the system works before speaking, put away your stick and start picking up books instead

Mhmm, I wonder how many of CIA’s fingers are in this...

This is one of the rare instances I would not mind the CIA being involved, since it is clear the will of the people is being suppressed.

The UK is a permanent UN security council member. I expect them to be the bastion of democracy and human rights while they bring this issue up to the UN.

In no time, the global community will act and make sure that those who have been wrong get righted.

I bet Disney will pick up that fairy tale.

Yes, you did. Your advice will be taken under consideration and given due weight once you actually answer this question:

You think that Maduro's regime is democracy in action?

Well, do you?

It's not for me to think for you, the result was recognised by China, South Africa, Cuba, Iran, Egypt, Russia, Syria and Turkey however

I have no idea, however it's not for the US to say, as has been discussed, the dishonest foreign policy methods of the US have been covered in great detail throughout history, it certainly doesn't make anything better.

And when was the last time you visited Venezuela to see the examples that the MSM tell you of the mismanagement of the country?

Do I need to have travelled the entire world before I may have an opinion?

Any time the US intervenes abroad I'm against it. Even if the sanctions sped this up, it was inevitable. The people have been frustrated by their collapsing government and subsequently their lives.

But I really think this will just fizzle out with Guaidó dead or in Columbia or the US.

Giddy up, remove the spectacles

Maybe you should visit and declare your self President, wait a minute, that was Guaidó
