This news report recently appeared in my network. Ive tried looking for other corroborating reports of this but I haven't found them.

If this is true then holy cow, I want to know what happened, the article was really vague about the details. Anybody else have any other information?

FOX 5 NEWS SAN DIEGO, LINK TO ARTICLE.

SAN DIEGO -- U.S. Border Patrol agents say more than 3,700 people were apprehended along the Southwest border Monday, according to a tweet by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. It was "the largest single day total in more than a decade," the tweet said.

I wouldn't have posted this if I had not found so little information about it.

The libs say there isn’t an emergency down there.
Disease, human trafficking, drug smuggling and the possibility of terrorist infiltration... WTF?

If we apprehend 3700 in one day, I'd say our security down there is fine.

If we apprehend them on OUR SIDE, then they won. They get to stay, suck off our system and not show up for hearings and disappear into sanctuary cities.

That's not good security.

If 10,000 crossed without being caught while we apprehended 3,700, is our security just fine?
One fentanyl bust... just one mind you, had the potential to kill millions of people. Does that mean that no other packages of it came acriss?
Your logic is failing.

Funny how that point gets lost on some.

3700 is a lot.
There are 16k cities in the usa with less than 10k population.
That is enough people to populate an entire city.

I know two people who have died from fentanyl overdose. They got it from their local pharmacy. Your logic is failing.

The article about it listed the lowest possible fatal dose multiplied by the amount seized, came out to millions. The truth is, the lowest possible fatal dose of fentanyl is a normal or smaller dose to tolerant opioid addicts but anyways..

It sounded good.

Pharmacies sell fentanyl and are regulated by the DEA and FDA.
Enough fentanyl to kill millions coming across the border illegally and unregulated is COMPLETELY different. Try again.

Largest single day total in more than a decade... So basically, more illegals apprehended since the left found out that illegals could be useful to them in elections.

That makes it all better. We should have let them go since fentanyl isn't actually that dangerous.

It was also at a legal port of entry, so... Wall wouldn't have done anything.

From December 21, 2018 to March 20, 2019, ICE had to RELEASE 107,000 Illegal Aliens into the U.S. population.

I felt like that number needed a little bit of comparison for me to really understand how many people that is, so I looked some things up. Thought I'd share the perspective.

My home state, Maine, only has 66,000 people in its largest city.
Two biggest cities combined- just shy of 103k people.

The following cities have roughly 107k population:
Boulder Colorado
Lakeland Florida
Santa Maria California
Green Bay Wisconsin
Hillsboro Oregon
more here

107,000 people is an invasion force.
That's just shy of the number of Americans killed in WWI.

Why are we no longer using deterrents such as tear gas? This is absolute BS.

Do we really need more homeless people and unsanitary diseased tent cities? Ca, Or and Wa are becoming overrun with them and if this continues Az, Tx and New Mexico are soon to follow as well as other states as they move into inner America.
