Corbyn is refusing to join cross party talks unless may takes "No Deal" off the table. Surely, the threat of a no deal is a trump card in any further negotiations with the EU? I don't get his position at all.
Lol

I've yet to hear a shred of evidence about why the EU needs us as much as we need them...

If they don't 'need' that money then let's just have a decent trade deal.

Has it never crossed your mind that No Deal could be that bad for us that it should be removed?
It's not much of a bargaining chip to be fair really, if the EU was just Britain, France and Germany I'd agree that the EU needs us as much as we need them but it's simply not true. We are only 1/28th of the EU and, as much as we lead the way in Europe a lot of the time, they have plenty other people to help make their laws for them. I've yet to hear a shred of evidence about why the EU needs us as much as we need them...
Check this Google image search out haha, funny as!

We are net contributors to the tune of billions £'s each year.
Do we 'need' to give that money to the EU, or does the EU need that money? If they don't 'need' that money then let's just have a decent trade deal.

unless my conspiracy mind state is correct, brexit goes through, Scotland pushes Indy2 and we go indy and become super rich and the banks reap the profits of Scotlands independence !
The UK pays more into the EU budget than it gets back.
In 2017 the UK government paid £13 billion to the EU budget, and EU spending on the UK was forecast to be £4 billion. So the UK’s ‘net contribution’ was estimated at nearly £9 billion.
Each year the UK gets a discount on its contributions to the EU—the ‘rebate’—worth about £5.6 billion last year. Without it the UK would have been liable for £18.6 billion in contributions.
